  3. OH STEPH! I love it all! Your invites are so pretty! You did a great job! Love the bright pink and green! The starfish ring is ADORABLE - what a good idea! Your FG flipflops are cute! YAY! Things are coming together!

It's gotten me on the right track to stay away from bread and pasta. YAY Monica! Good for you! I missed you earlier, but I would have said you'll be fine to cook your soup in the crock pot. I only fit 1/2 a batch in mine, but it came out fine! So I will do a variation of the diet since I have so much soup left and hopefully in two weeks I will be where I want to be. For everyone just starting I really do think it's a good diet. Because you are eating veggies, fruits, proteins and healthy carbs. This will definitely get you on the right track for changing your lifestyle in regards to eating more healthy and making better decisions. IMHO! Good luck ladies! That sucks about your lunch! I totally agree with everything else you said! Quote: Originally Posted by Becksy I'm starting the diet today, but FH doesn't want to to it too. In fact he is eating pizza right beside me right now! WELL Ladies - I haven't posted in a while because I wanted to tell you all today that as of yesterday, I decided enough was enough and I threw in the towel! I hung on as long as I could but the soup just got the better of me. Like FYB said, it will give you a start in the right direction as far as eating better and low carbs and it ABSOLUTELY has done that for me. I think in total I am down 1 lb which is better than where I was LOL!! You guys that are hanging in there are so inspirational to everyone. My FI said he wanted to try it before the wedding, so I may have another go round in October. Other than that I am going to go back to good old fashioned healthy eating, more activity and water, water, water! Good luck everyone! Luv YA!! Celina XOXOXO
  5. Any luck Jenny? If all else fails, you can always use the starfish to chuck at that lady at work! HAHA LOL!! Bust out some Karate moves HI-YA!!
  6. They are cute! A month and two weeks Maura - OMG!! I am SO excited for you!
  7. Congrats JL!! It feels good to have one more thing checked off the list doesn't it? I felt that way when we booked our trip.
  8. Good luck today ladies! Just think twice before you put it in your mouth. LOL!

As far as the weight gain, my first few days I wasn't seeing a lot of progress and was getting very frustrated. But yesterday I saw a big difference, which helped me to keep going. I just ate a steak tip for breakfast and as much as I was looking forward to beef day, I really would kill for a piece of fruit right now, beef for breakfast is really gross! I'm almost at my breaking point with this diet, in all honesty. I'm just having cravings for so many things, not even bad things, I would just like a bowl of freakin cereal! Or a salad with a little bit of dressing! Anything besides soup! I'm going to try to get through today and stay on track, I have my daughters dance recital again today so that will eat up a lot of my afternoon. I am with you Jill. Steak for breakfast?? I'm with you Sister! Oh how I longed for the chef salads in the refrigerator case this morning. I stared longingly at one and grabbed my juice and walked the other way! Have fun today with your daughter. I don't even want any sweets, I am good with the fruit, it's just the freakin soup! This whole diet has given me the leg up and has opened my eyes to eating healthier for sure. I don't want chips or cake or anything like that. I just want something other than soup. Oatmeal, yogurt, whole wheat toast - I'm seriously considering quitting the restrictions and keeping at least 1 bowl of soup and everything else healthy.
  10. Well - I weighed myself this morning and I am up 3 lbs!! WTF!! FI and I got in a screaming match yesterday because he had left and went shopping with daughter - they came back and had bags from Spicy Pickle (Sandwiches) and a bag from Noodles (Chick & Mac & Cheese). He brought me some portobellos and zuchinni. The thing is, I was SO HUNGRY! I can't stand to eat the soup anymore. I could only get down 1/2 a bowl of soup yesterday. I must admit, I cheated yesterday and had a celery stalk with 1 teaspoon of cream cheese and dried cranberrys. I told him I was so hungry and that it was rude of him to keep bringing in fast food when he knew I couldn't have any. So he says very sarcastically "eat some soup". I could have freakin choked him!! In the end I ate the grilled veggies and enjoyed the rest of my night. This morning I ran to the store to buy some banannas before I came into work and what's in the car? - Fast food bags from Good Times! UGH!! I swear, if I make it through this week, I can do anything! I have been tempted with EVERYTHING this week. Honestly though, I need some variations of the soup - maybe it's the tomatoes. I just cant eat it! I will do my best to get at least a bowl in a day. As far as dieting goes, I can do all veggies, fruit and soup and no whites. The soup has gotten to me in the worst way. I would kill for a bowl of oatmeal right now! This morning I drank a Naked all natural protein juice smoothie. It actually wasn't bad. It didn't have any sugar and was all natural, so I don't think it will kill me. (It had banannas in it) I don't know guys - if any of you are having sudden outbursts of rage that are out of character for you - I am blaming the diet!!
  11. Off subject -Jessica - Aiden is a cutie pie! Dez, maybe it's the diet. I am SO wiped out at night. FI got into a screaming match yesterday too. I am blaming the diet!
  12. I agree with everyone that she is jealous. ESP when you have a man at home, your preggers and he is out at the bar! I would be pissy too - but it doesn't make it right to take it out on everyone. Go in today, be your sweet charming and helpful self and kill her with kindness (since you can't wrap your hands around her neck and cut off her airway) LOLOL! Better yet - why dont you take in the coffee and take her one. She'll probably curl up and melt away like the witch in the Wizard of Oz! LOL
  13. Oh no - poor baby! Sounds like you may have a small set back in potty training. It just hurts my heart to hear that the little ones are sick. Did you try a lukewarm bath? Maybe that will help. Knock on wood my daughter has never had a bladder infection, but poor baby has to be absolutely miserable. Forget the house today and just make her comfortable.

My stomach has settled. I'll probably go home and eat some soup.

Read the thread and you'll hear all about it! Good job Maura on your 5lbs! YAY for you!

  17. I don't know - but tomorrow we are going out to dinner. I thought it was cancelled, but FI said otherwise - SO - I am going to go off the "Plan" for one meal. I promise not to over do it. I'll probably have shrimp/avocado sushi rolls and salad. The worst part - we are going to the movies afterwards - the smell of popcorn is going to KILL ME!
  18. Everything looks great! I Love your dress - it is beautiful!

YAY for you Monica! That is awesome! Well I must say that I have no appetite. I don't know what is wrong, but I have been drinking water all day and I have no appetite to eat anything at all. Tomorrow is my bananna day - did you guys eat JUST banannas or other fruit too? Did you eat any vegetables? The diet didn't really say. I looked on line and all it said was banannas & skim milk. I wonder if dried banannas are included. I'd have to look at the package to see if they contain anything else.

I bought one for my daughter to wear as a dress and it is SUPER cute! It has little pockets and it is light and flowy. It is kind of see through, but OMG when I saw it, I bought it immediately! It has Mexico written all over it! I almost wanted her to wear it as her FG dress.
  22. We have people staying with us at the AI and we have some staying at their timeshares. We plan on notifying those invited to rehearsal dinner in advance of when and where we are meeting for the RD. We will be going off site for a dinner. Luckily our time share people are staying at the same hotel so they can catch a cab together.
  23. Leticia, That was one of the best reviews ever! It wasn't a review - it was a story! Thank you for sharing it with us! I could feel all of the emotion of your day. I was even tearing up! It sounds like a beautiful-to short trip! I'm glad it turned out so wonderful and your dad made it. You guys both looked great! Congratulations!
