  1. Thanks guys! The hardest part was the rub-ons. You have to use some elbow power. I would just sit and watch tv and just rub away! lol!

Thanks Nikki and Jessica - yep I am a coupon whore!!
  3. Alright, so on top of buying their dresses, flip flops, and necklaces I am giving each of my BM's and MOH a gift bag. I am thinking of giving it to them before we leave because I don't want to carry anything down that I don't have to. I picked up the lotion and lip gloss from the dollar bins at Target. Each one will get a small photo album and disposable camera (not pictured) lotion, lip gloss, luggage tag, tank, nail kit, and sterling silver earrings. They are small hoops with CZ's in them. I was going to give them the earrings now because I bought starfish necklaces for them and my two FSIL's to give to them at the rehersal dinner. I didn't buy the FSIL's earrings, just necklaces. These are the nail kits I bought from Target dollar bin for my FSIL's OOT bags.
  4. So, at first I was going to go with a three tiered cake stand, when in my heart it wasn't what I really wanted. During my wedding supply shopping I stumbled across this pedestal at Hobby Lobby. It was $49 which I would have happlily paid anywy but with my 40% off coupon....uhm Hello - can anyone say BARGAIN!! It looks wavy on top, but it's not - it's smooth. The top edge has flowers on it, the middle is smooth. I am so happy with it! I picked up these candle holders at Michaels (armed with another 40% off coupon). FMIL got our monogram for us at www.creationmetal.com Although I LOVE bling, I plan on leaving it plain.
  5. I have had these done for a while but haven't had pics and I know how you guys are! LOL Okay - first I saw Morgans and thought it was the coolest idea (thanks for the inspiration Morgan!) I started out doing just the girls and then FI said it wasnt' fair - so I did the guys, just not so girly. I bought the cups at Walmart - 4 for $1, the rub on's at Michaels, and the bling in the dollar bin at Target. I just used the rhinestone tattoos. They actually stick pretty well. I was going to write names on them, but couldn't find a pen that would stick to the cups. Every paint pen I used rubbed off! The supplies: The non-girly guy cups - I started to put initials, but we ended up with a lot of guys with the same initial, so some have names, and some don't. The supplies:

I used body tattoos I found at our favorite dollar bin....TARGET - and stuck them on my cup! They are on their pretty good! If they wash off - Oh well! I bought the rub on's at Michaels. 7. We are planning to SPREAD the LOVE! Most of us are flying American, and we have all paid before the 1 bag limit, so I am divying up all of the stuff we plan to bring. Us and one couple are bringing down all of the OOT bag stuff since we'll be there first. FI's grandmother is bringing down cake related stuff. My dad and his wife are bringing down all reception goods. MOH and BM are bringing down all the ceremony stuff. This way, it's just a little extra for everyone. Anything breakable I will put in our carry-ons. We have a group of 4 in our little unit (Me, FI, son & daughter) We are paying full fare for all, so we are all going to bring our one carry on bag! Everyone keeps telling me to send it - I don't trust to send anything to Mexico that needs to be signed for. I would go ballistic if my stuff didn't show up - so you know the saying......if you want something done right, do it yourself!

  9. OOOOHhhhhhhhhh NIKKI!! I LOVE them!! I especially love the one in front of the church - VERY symbolic! They came out great!!
  10. Yeah, I think it will just be our grand entrance to dinner. After dinner, we are moving to a different location for dancing, etc. My FI wants something totally laid back, so I was lucky to get him to agree to my mariachi grand entrance!
  11. My plan is to have the Mariachi's walk with us from the lobby of the hotel to the reception...so when they hear the music and as it gets closer, they'll know it's us!
  12. Thanks Glenda - your hair looked cute for your wedding! No Mufasa there! lol
  13. I was able to get to Photobucket and change my siggy pic! I'm going to go to Walgreens right after work and have them re-do the disk. The thing that sucks is I was going to go to the Kodak kiosk at Walmart, but didn't want to drive. UGH!!
  14. Okay - here's my daughter who does well with the Colorado climate. Her usual smooth ringlets are gone and this is her PV humidity hair...........
  15. Monica - you look amazing!! Congratulations! I am so happy for you! I'm going to check out those other pics now....
  16. Wow it looks beautiful! What a goregous bride you are!! Congrats and I can't wait to see more!
  17. WWWWaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa a! (That's me crying) The guys have a cord but it's too big for my camera. I have the camera and cards in my purse, but they won't work with their camera cord. I have a Kodak and they have a Sony. I am so pissed. I am going to concentrate on work today. I could strangle that Walgreens Lady!!

I like those with the Blue & White stones - very nice - simple but elegant! Quote: Originally Posted by lucy106 Jessica those flowers look great!!! You girls are kicking butt with the DIY!!! Another song I was thinking of (actually I heard it last night and thought of you)...actually, I don't know the name of the song, but it's by Jason Mraz and it kind of has a raegae beat to it - it's about love and it's SO sweet. ( I could toally be wrong about the anxiety of finding a place to sit, but for me personally I hate walking around figuring out where to sit) We are only having 30 guests at our wedding, but are doing a seating chart. I had a bday party for FI at a restaurant and we got stuck sitting by people we didn't want to sit with and we promised ourselves that would NEVER happen again! LOL! FI got stuck sitting by his moms husband who we nicknamed "Babblin Bill" -he can babble for hours - hence the name....I got stuck sitting by FI's grandmother and 20-something cousin who did nothing but drool all over his girlfriend all night. UGH - never again! I am SO DOWN with a seating chart! Well - I am SO sad. I spent a good 2 hours yesterday dragging out stuff, I finished my DIY tank tops and took tons of pictures to share with you guys today. I don't have the cord to hook my camera to my computer, so I took three memory cards to Walgreens last night and waited 30 minutes for them to download them onto a disk. SO I brought the disks with me to work this morning and guess what...the disk that was supposed to have all of my pics from yesterday weren't on the disk!! The freakin disk was blank!! THEN - the pics I have on the other disks won't upload to photobucket! I am going to try again later - but I am so bummed! I think I may have the camera in my purse - I am going to check and see if the guys have a cord for their camera....I'll be back.
  20. YAY ABBIE! It's finally your turn! I am so excited for you and Doug! Thanks for sharing all your stuff!
  21. Hi Dez, You have been on my mind since Saturday. I am glad that you guys are trying to work things out, and it is wonderful that you are heading in the direction of therapy. I like what Alyssa said that "would you want your kids to be treated this way"? It's funny, but that is how I see things most of the time. If someone were treating my daughter like this what would I do? You are a wonderful person and deserve to be treated as such!
  22. I am going barefoot on the beach as well and my dress is tea length, so no worries about tripping on it. I am a klutz as well and am wearing flip flops during the reception because our dance floor is outdoors and the ground itself is sort of bumpy (think cobblestone-ish but with bricks). I know I will stub a toe or trip without flip flops or some kind of flat shoe on. Good luck!
