I agree with the others. Try the RIU hotels in PV or Cancun. Always keep in mind the cost of alcohol, food and taxi's. Those can drive up anyones budget really quick.

Erica - OMG that is incredible! What a busy night! I hope the baby and mom are doing great. Nurses are incredible people. FI's bro and SIL are both nurses. You all have so much patience and kindness. It''s a job only a few can do. Danielle - YAY on your shirts! Isn't it cute how we are holding our dad's hands and making sure they get their stuff together? I heard that passports were taking like two weeks. My MOH went yesterday to pay on her trip - so that was good. I got my cake boxes in yesterday and ordered the wrong ones! They have a thatch sort of pattern on them, kind of like a weave - it kind of reminds me of a grass mat so I decided to keep them. (Another project to decorate) I also got my OOT bag tags from Vista Print and OMG they are HUGE!! I think they are too big. I ordered the oversized postcards, which were the same size as my STD postcards (or so I thought) but they are like 5x7! I think they are way too big. Unfortunately we don't have our camera so I can't take any pics. You know how I felt so bad with my dress, veil and flower? My Stepmom saw the veil and dress on Sunday and she almost fell out gushing over how beautiful it was. She had me put the veil on and she said, "Wow - you look like a beautiful Spanish bride - the flower and veil are beautiful". I felt SO good hearing her say that. It is such a relief and nice to be reassured. Now...I just need to get moving on those sit ups! LOL

Thanks. November is in 3 months! I can't believe it! Since our wedding is in the beginning of November - it just seems so soon! I am off of work on Oct 31st, so I feel like I should be done by the end of October. We're almost there girls!! Before we had AC i would just open the windows on the opposite side of the house. It is so hard for the little ones. Let them play in the tub with cool water - maybe that will help. FI called me earlier and said that our little guy was sick too. He had a lot of sun yesterday. Then he got home and slept from 3pm until this morning. He woke up SO hungry at 6:00 this morning. I heard him when I was in the shower, he said, "Daddy - I want some cereal NOW!" Hopefully he is okay when I get there.

Some of these posts are hillarious! I live in Green Valley Ranch - NO not in Nevada - in Denver Colorado. Here's our communities little space on the web it's Green Valley Ranch Community We live across the street from a firestation and golf course. Our little single family home is on a cul de sac. We only have five houses on our side of the street, and we are close to two of our neighbors. We have lots of green areas and places to walk. Just walking to the store is like a mile trip. We know a lot of people in our community from High School, the kids' school, the local bar and work. Our neighborhood is mixed, white, black and Hispanic. Most of the people in the area work at the airport. Most of the homes are fairly new and we have a lot of new construction as well. Yes guys...I even have a white fence...total suburbia! When school is in session, if you see kids with their parents at the grocery store...all of the kids are wearing uniforms...it is hillarious!

Oh no, poor babies! Is there anything you can do to cool it down? I'm sure you've tried all of the obvious. I would die without any AC! Keep them hydrated. Poor little guys - I feel terrible for you! On a side note - we finally picked the groomsman shirts. They are getting these in beige. oops...I accidentally hit the post button and wasn't done! My bad! My dad & SMOM came over yesterday and my dad took on the task of making luminaries for the reception. He brought his outfit over and it is nice, but now he said he needs a new shirt. His wife said she now needs to buy a different dress too to match in our color scheme. (YAY - I don't want her sticking out) She also took my daughters dress so she can add teal tulle to the underskirt of her dress. OH - if anyone hasn't found their groomsman shirts - GO TO DILLARDS! They had some great shirts on sale in the Roundtree & York Carribean collection. All were on sale for $35 and under. FI doesn't want to go with the custom shirts because he thinks they are too expensive, so now the hunt is on for a new shirt for the groomsmen. I swear - I could strangle him! We have one guy who wears a 3-4XL and the others are all Large or XL, so trying to find something that matches has been a task!

Tara - the tanks are cute, cute cute!! I love them and the color! I had the hardest time finding aqua tanks so I went with black. Yours are cute. I am needing to go to JoeAnn's soon. I need one more bridesmaid iron on. Michelle - you've been busy! Great ideas for the RB & FG. What about getting them their own little disposable cameras, a coloring book and crayons, maybe a hand held game? Amy - Great deal on the pants! $16.25 per pair is awesome! WELL CHICKIES...We got our bands on Friday!! YAY!! I must say though that I am not too happy with the fact that they don't match!! FI hated gold and unfortunately he bought me a gold e-ring so nothing he looked at that was gold made him remotely happy. The thing is, I told him many moons ago - before he asked me to marry him, that if we got married I wanted silver or white gold...did he listen? NO. SO NOW - both of my rings are gold and his is tungsten. My ring is getting sized so I won't have it for a couple of weeks. I did poll 4 of my friends who are recently married (within the past 4 years) and NONE of their rings match. WHY?? Hubbies have all lost their rings and had to buy new ones! LOL!!
