  1. That is a great deal! I wish we would have known sooner! We just ordered ours from spiritsupply.com last night. $65 total - 50 cups, free shipping, no set up fee, double sided printing in one color. Might be an option for those looking for cups when this other great deal expires.
  2. I have been searching for fabric and read that sometimes bedsheets of all things are a cheap alternative to pricey fabric-by-the-yard. Tommy Hilfiger has really cute beachy sheets! My sister found these at TJMaxx, but I also found them at Macy's.
  3. My FI and I are long distance, and we see each other every weekend which means A LOT of flights. One of my favorite sites is Farecast. It tracks and trends airfare and will tell you if you should buy now or wait.
  4. Some of my faves: Sweet Thing - Van Morrison Lovers Rock - Sade By Your Side - Sade Waste - Phish (not your traditional Phish song - very sweet) Precious Hands - The Big Wu (beachy jam band) The Luckiest - Ben Folds (My sisters 1st dance song) Helplessly Hoping - Crosby, Stills, & Nash (my ALL TIME FAVE) I'll Back You Up - Dave Matthews Band Gold to Me - Ben Harper Not Fire, Not Ice - Ben Harper
  5. Thanks everyone - I LOVE VistaPrint! I also love the idea of brochures, if that doesn't work, I thought about ordering another set of "welcome/thank you for coming" postcards to throw into all of the OOT bags.
  6. I was going to make one for each guest at the wedding. Right now we have 30 booked. But, I am not sure the men will use them, so I am thinking about doing something else for them. I will be sure to post pics when I get this one tackled!
  7. We got 100 of the rack card invites for $20.45 including shipping! The monogram on the invite and the invite inspiration were from Creative Montage. The pic is a little dark, but I hope you get the idea
  8. I found this DIY passport tutorial - It is very simple if you have a sewing machine. I can't wait to try it myself once I find some cute fabric! bunnybum: passport sleeve tutorial... P.S. My FI wanted me to add the monkey!
  9. Hi! I am looking for any recommendations for a BD photographer in the Kansas City area...
  10. I am SO glad I found this thread - I hadn't seen much about Barcelo on the forum. We are getting married at the Barcelo Maya Beach and have picked the Ocean Scents package. We have 30 guests booked so far. I have been in contact with the resort to confirm our date, but have not been in contact with a WC. The reply was from the wedding sales coordinator...how did you get in touch with a WC? Anyway, I am super excited to see and hear all of the awesome things about Barcelo weddings! Thanks for all of the good info!
  11. Verseit.com has Post-Wedding Reception wording ideas: http://verseit.com/VerseIt_Verses.cfm?SR=1
  12. We picked the Barcelo Maya Beach in the Riviera Maya - it was a good rate and 30 people have booked. We have a TA - I wouldn't do it without one!
  13. Hello! I am from KC and getting married January 2009! You will love the site - so much good info. We wanted the AI to be affordable for our guests too. We narrowed it down to a few resorts based on what kind of wedding packages & wedding locations they offered (we wanted a beach wedding and a beach reception) and then what the price was. We are keeping things very simple and stress free as possible. Good luck with the wedding planning!
  14. We dated for 4 months before we got engaged. I was SO surprised - we had talked about marriage very early on but I thought we would be like most "normal" couples and date for at least a year. When you know, you know! We were introduced to each other 2 years before we started dating - we lived half way across the country from each other and even though we hit it off almost immediately, it wasn't until the we met again at a mutual friends birthday party in 2006 that we decided to start dating - long distance. We have been long distance the entire engagment. When I finish grad school in May 2009, I am selling my house and finally moving to be with Chris!
