  1. Drinks are VERY expensive at Margaritaville. Also, it is not private and tends to be very crowded. It's a popular place.

This really helps a great deal. I am going to have table runners made and I had no idea of the dimensions.

  7. Which one lasts longer? Any pro's or cons? I don't know anything about flowers, so i definetly need help on this one. I'm getting married in Jamaica and I want to bring some flowers with me, but I'm not sure how they will hold up against the humidity and travel. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!!
  8. 80-100 people, so i'm not sure how many tables i would need. Do you know the table dimensions?
  9. Thanks JM.......what about table number holders? Do you remember if the resort had those or should i bring my own? Thanks!
  10. Dr. Hubby, how many tiki torches did you see. I want to know if they rent those out. I asked chandlyn, but i'm still waiting on a response. Does anyone know if the resort provides the proper cake cutter set for the wedding cake, or should i just bring my own?
  11. so the bride and grooms bouquet & boutinnaire are already included? Are there certain flowers that are excluded from that? Or do you have to upgrade if you want a certain type of flower?
  12. how many people are you having? If you are getting married at Riu, i believe that they offer a free wedding reception for up to 10 people........but, honestly, i'm not sure. you can also just use one of the open area outside bars or plan a group dinner at one of the specialty restaurants.

  14. Oh gosh.........it's about to be some DRAMA!!!!!!! I am shocked by Valerie's response. In the past, they've not only allowed Photographers, but florist also! Now they are tightening up on their verbage. We will see how this plays itself out.
  15. Thanks for the info. Where did you find the phone number. I can't seem to find the MD number on the website. When i called the 800 number that you gave me, the guy said that the line was for DC and that he didn't have MD number. I would like to have it just in case I need to follow up on my order.
  16. Great thanks!!! I just ordered mine.....It was only $19 bucks. Hubby was born in DC, so he's ordering his separately,

  18. great thanks.........this is for Los angeles, but I was born in Maryland. I googled and some sites came up, but the looked a bit shady. I didn't know if there was an authentic govenment site that I could go to instead.
  19. For those who do not have their original birth certificate, where are you going to order it? If you are ordering or have previously ordered from online, can you please post the link to the website. Thanks a bunch!!

ETA: oops, i just re-read your first post and see that you are having your reception at Mammee Bay. Thanks for sharing!
  21. i've kinda just gave up on the idea of having a bach party. i'm really in a foul mood to be honest. I don't really consider any of those girls to be my true friends and I'm coming to grips with it.
