Especially if he works in Photoshop.

If you pay for one, you should pay for all. I totally agree, but yuh no it nah easy!! I wouldn't hear the end of it if we ACTUALLY expected them to pay for themselves. I'm waiting to hear from Chandlyn to see if the $80 is a weekly or daily rate. I'll let u know.
  4. I've read about michael's photography services, but what about the video Has anyone purchsed it? how did it come out? Was it professionally edited? Please share!!
  5. Calia........are these the pictures that he touched up in Photoshop and put on the cd for you? btw......you were glowing on your day!!
  6. i emailed chandlyn about this issue and she responded saying that it was $80. She didn't specify if that was a daily or weekly rate and if it included the cost to come onto the resort for the wedding. I just sent her a follow up email to verify. I'm starting to run into issues, because I have ALOT of family in Jamaica and I am paying for all of my family plus their spouse.......but now, people from the states that are flying to Jamaica are saying that they will not be staying at the hotel, and I REFUSE TO PAY FOR THEM!!!! wtf??
  7. His email address uses: photoshopjamaica.com Unfortuanely, I can't access it from work. I'll check when i get home to see if this is his actual website.
  8. i would like to see also!!! Please share ladies!! Thanks a bunch!
  9. Does anyone know what there menu looks like. I want to customize the menu with our monogram, but I don't know if it will fit into their standard size menu?
  10. I've gotten conflicting information from Chandlyn. Which FREE area can be used for the welcome mixer to accomodate 80 or more people: Blue Mountain Lobby / Lounge Bar or the Dunn's River Bar?? Does anyone have pictures of each? thanks!
  11. What about family that lives in Jamaica, that wants to vist you at the resort before or after your wedding? Is there a charge?
  12. DUH!! I guess that does make sense......lol I wonder if the plantation will have a mic system set up to have people give speeches??
  13. OMG, you were stunning!! Congrats! quick question: how much was your cake? Did you take your flowers and put them on the top. It looked great!!
  14. Where and What is the order of events: This is what i'm thinking but i'm not sure: ceremony - Beach Gazebo pictures - Beach Gazebo dinner reception - Plantation Formal Announcement - Disco First Dance w/ new hubby- Disco Dance w/ dad - Disco Garter / Bouquet Toss - Disco Cake Cutting - Where does this go What else am i forgetting? Also, for those that used a cd or pre-recorded music for their walk down the aisle, how was the sound system? Did it sound loud and clear with alot of bass or was it muffled and hard to hear? Thanks!!!
  15. for those eating at the plantation, will there be a system set up for music? Anybody know?
  16. What do you ladies think about the au natural beach (aka nude)?? This is our first time visiting anything like that and I'm not sure how i feel about that yet.

But IMHO I'm not sure if I would want to celebrate with people who couldn't be bothered to step up for me. That's exactly how i feel! The party is suppose to be for me!!! Not for them! and if they don't even want to be bothered with setting one up for me, I don't feel like I should set one up for "them".......but in the end, I"m the one who is missing out. :-(
  20. Yayyy!!!! I'll be at the Riu from May 6th - 15th, then we are honeymooning at Couples San Souci from 15th - 20th!! Our actual wedding is May 10th! I see that you are getting married on the 12th.....is that a Monday? The funny thing is, I am 28 (turning 29 in August), and we are all in the same age range (late 20's - mid 30's). You would think that I was dealing with children.
  21. when does the next season of Bridezilla start?? I've been waiting forever for them to start showing the new episodes. I love to watch all of those shows: Bridezilla (my favorite) Whose wedding is it anyway? Married Away Say Yes to the Dress A Wedding Story

I thought that one of the roles of your MOH or bridesmaids were to do those types of things for you. I didn't want to think this, but I am starting to sorta think that this may be a jealously thing.

I lost ties with people I thought were friends, some of whom were just mad that I got out and they didn't...whatever. I do still have a group of close friends but a lot dropped off (and good riddance!). I don't know if that's the case with you but your story made me think of that. In these cases I can only say cling to your man. I wouldn't want to tell my friends to throw me a party either, if they don't do it on their own so be it. As much as it hurts they are teaching you a lot about themselves so don't miss the lesson. Good luck ) i think your right starchild. I think that's why I'm okay with not having a bridal party. I didn't want to put people up there just to "fill shoes". Thanks for the advice!
