  2. Yayyy Crawford's Review! I've been waiting for this!! Thanks for being so detailed! How did the quality of the cd player sound. Was it very loud. I'm having over 100 people and I want to be certain that everyone can hear the music or the minister. Did they give you a formal introduction before dinner? Did you rent the disco? Also in another thread you mentioned: "they brought our cake just on a plate and had the knives etc for us to use. We didn't do a guest book because we only had one other couple with us." They didn't have a cake stand? Or a cake cutting set? Congrats again!
  3. Crawford, that would ROCK if your fi.....i mean husband....lol can post your wedding vid on youtube. I would be all over that one!!!
  4. CheeseDiva and Ticia, your toppers are LOVELY!!!! Ticia, I've been stalking your bio....lol. Everything is simply beautiful!! Your invites.......OMG....they are to die for!!! Thanks for the tip about using jewelry embellishment glue. What tool do you use to apply the crystals to the cake topper? maybe a pair of tweasers? So back to the cake topper....lol. I am planning on using a variety of colors. Should I be getting the same size for each color or should i mix it up. cheesediva, i noticed that you used 16 and 12mm crystals. Twelvepiece: Do you think that the 4mm will be too small.
  5. I decided that I am going to try to add the "bling" factor to my monogram letter. Can anyone recommend which swarovski crystal sizes that I should be looking for? My monogram topper is 5 inches and is made out of acrylic mirror. Thanks in advance!
  6. OMG......this is beautiful!! I am TRYING to make my own piece but i'm not having much luck. I may pm you later on today.
  7. thanks crawford!! I just saw your pictures and everything looked sooo lovely!! Of course, you know I left you some questions (in the other thread) ...lol Anyhow, for the religious ceremony, does the minister read scriptures from the bible and if so, do you know which one? Or do we tell him which one to refer to? Thanks!!
  8. I'm planning on using the steel band to walk down the aisle and play after the ceremony. My song choice, however, is not on their list. I'm hoping to meet with the band prior to give them the cd of what i want. I"M PRAYING that they will be able to pull it off!
  9. Loved it!!! You looked FABULOUS!!!! They were gorgeous!!! Do you have any pics of your reception. I'm so glad that everything turned out great for you!!! Congrats again!
  10. For previous or future ROR brides, if you selected the religous ceremony, do you have a chance to recite your own written vows, or did you just have to repeat what the minister said. I am having a religious ceremony, but i would like to recite my own vows. Anybody know? Thanks!
  11. i'm actually considering using these. Does anyone have any other pictures of what they look like? I've tried doing a search but it just brings up the same picture. Also, do they come in different colors?

  13. what about the cake table or the guestbook table? Are they both 32 inches as well? I want to make sure that I order enough runners for all the tables that I will need. Another question for previous ROR Brides, did the resort provide the cake plateau stand?
  14. this is so great!!! I've already done my crossword and printed them up already....but i'm soooo tempted to start over. I didn't even think to put a Jamaican theme spin on it. Thanks for sharing!!!
  15. Someone mentioned that the measurements for the plantation tables are the following: 6 person table - 66x33 8 person table - 99x33 When I went to go and have my runners made, I gave him the above measurements and the guy looked at me like i was crazy! He said that if the table is 6 feet long, than the runners would need to be 72 inches. Do any of you guys know if these measurements are correct. I just want to double check before I have my runners made. Thanks in advance!!
  16. No, it's not fast at all, but it's not super slow either. Morgan, I was wondering what that was (8th grade rock)........LOL
  17. I'm so upset........i've already done my OOT boxes. I wish i would have known!!! Good find!

  20. hmmmm......off to search youtube right now. but carly, I don't want the traditional, standard box trot type of formal dance. I just want him to loosen up and do some different steps every now and again. I think LSWiener had a good idea........get him drunk and then start dance class........LOL
  21. LOLOLOL.........Congrats! Good to hear that he came around!
