  1. Happy B-day!!! Have a fantastic day!
  2. They really have the best stuff! I have these divided lunch containers that everyone at work drools over, so I think I'm going to do a little early x-mas shopping! As an FYI, in January, they have their yearly ELFA sale (closet system) and it is 50% off at that time! I believe it starts just after Christmas and goes to the end of January.
  3. We are still in the "not charting, but not avoiding" phase. That being said, I've mapped out when I should ovulate based on AF, so I have an idea. Honestly, I want to start really trying this month, but financially its a terrible time for us to get pregnant, and I think my boss will flip the day I say I'm going to need maternity. But the ups and downs each month are HARD! This month I was a few days late, and I was convinced I was preggos, but just as I snagged a test at work, AF showed up. Figures, right? Wishing you all BDW baby dust
  4. Oprah.com has a 20% off entire purchase for the Container Store! I absolutely love this place... they have the coolest stuff! Join Peter's Clutter Crew and Get Your Home Organized
  5. Welcome back and congrats! You look beautiful! Can't wait to see more pics
  6. I haven't stayed at Tensing Pen, but I stayed at the Caves which is right up the road - also on the cliffs. We did not have AC in our room, and never missed it. At night, we actually closed the windows because it was cool. The resort I got married at also did not have AC. If you are on the water, most places in Jamaica don't need it...
  7. I put it through the machine. Everyone in the airport was really nice to us and were very considerate of the dress and luggage thing. I think if you lay the dress down flat, without folding, it shouldn't be a problem. I know exactly how you feel about feeling relaxed once you are on the plane. I was a mess until we got on the plane... then I just got calm and didn't care about anything anymore. Now that could've been the drinks on the plane at 9am, but I think it was leaving Philly and knowing that everything was in motion and I couldn't change anything. Congrats and try to relax! Everything will be perfect
  8. Most photographers do not expect a tip, and I think a nice referral letter is generally appropriate instead of a monetary gift. The only exception I would use would be if you were using a resort photographer who was not the owner. I'm sure more photogs will chime in on this though. You can also use the search feature to find similar posts as I know this question has come up before...
  9. Love your album Tami! I think it looks fantastic and I love love love the quotes! I may actually have to steal some of them when I finally get around to putting mine together! Great job!
  10. Great bags! Very cute and tropical! We ordered the beach balls (which were great) and the flip flop cards... which were VERY small and not exactly useable. They are a cute novalty, but I wouldn't have ordered them if I had know how small they were. Just wanted to let you know
  11. No help here... sorry I know there is a wedding coordinator on BDW from France, so she may know of someone.
  12. Love it! It so wrong, but its hysterical!
  13. Congrats Mrs.!! You looked beautiful and its wonderful that your dad was able to be part of the day.
  14. Keeping my fingers crossed for you Keep us posted!
  15. We bought our house 6 months ago and were doing a ton of renovations, but my DH lost his job 3 months ago, so we've really gone on financial lockdown. With the economy crashing, it is an absolute crap time to be looking for a job - in any industry. DH was not financial, but he's just not getting any luck. So, we've almost completely stopped eating out/ordering in, we've stopped shopping for clothes/shoes unless its something we really need, and during the summer we turned the AC way down to try and save a little on our energy bill. There are probably a million other little things we've stopped buying, but thoe are the biggies. We've seriously become cost-conscious about everything. We had a pretty good cushion, and I make good money, but we bought our house with 2 incomes, so going down to mine (which luckily was always the larger one) is hard. And unfortunately, we have no end in sight. We've started discusssing schools for him and reinventing the wheel. Good luck to everyone with their cost-cutting
  16. We had a table under our arch with stuff for the sand ceremony setup. I just put my bouquet down on it during the ceremony. You could pass it off to someone in the first row, but I wouldn't have wanted to step away from my DH during the ceremony. I think the table worked great.

I know I should take my temp and all that but just say that it is correct with its prediction..... Without temping and checking CM those are the days based on your cycle length that you are most likely to be ovulating and therefore most likely to get pregnant. Cycle length is a good predictor of ovulation, so it should be fairly accurate if you are regular...

I should've started a thread or blog or something my first month off... I was seriously crazy. My poor DH really took the brunt of it... I quit smoking cold turkey a week or so after going off the pill, which totally compounded things. Seriously, I think I was bordering on Linda Blair ala The Exorcist that month - lol.
  19. Totally missed this thread, but I'm glad your surgery went well and that you're back home! Hopefully everyday will get a just a little easier
  20. Gorgeous necklace! And what a sweet story Congrats and happy b-day!
  21. $500 is definitely high! Like the others said, find another seamstress and it should be way cheaper. I bought a couture gown off the rack, had the zipper changed to a corset, dress hemmed, bustled, cups sown in, and it was taken in twice and it was $325 total.

We used different kinds of protection for a few months and now use none. I'm sort of glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I seriously can't believe how bad my skin has been... I'm hoping it will settle down, or I may go to the dermatologist. It sucks, because with age I've started getting really dry in my T-zone, but I'm also breaking out, so mosturizer seems like a bad call. Very frustrating!
