  1. I can't believe it too me this long to read your review. It sounds like everything turned out just perfectly and your pictures are awesome! I LOVE your dress, you looked amazing in it. And those pink bouquets against the chocolate brown dresses really popped. Congratulations!!!
  2. Tammy, I have a question. Where is the gazebo that is in your pics? Is it overlooking the ocean? Also, did you happen to stay in a suite?
  3. That last one is really cute, Lorilou! And if you put it on cute tropical looking invite cards it will make it even more adorable.
  4. yeah, thanks for that info! I'm might look into this as well. My eyelashes are so wimpy.
  5. Jessica, I am so psyched to hear your reviews since we are having our wedding at Sunset da Mona Lisa next year and are looking to stay at the Riu Santa Fe as well. How many guests will you have?
  6. Awesome pictures!! Everything looks beautiful!
  7. Great pictures! Everything looks amazing! Where is that gazebo at the Riu I was there last spring and didn't see it.
  8. Sam's club has some great apps in large quantities. You can get cheese/sausage platters, veggie trays, ham/turkey rollups, mini quiches, potstickers, mini eggrolls, meatballs, and the list goes on and on.... I have a ton of recipes too if you need some down the road...spin dip, stuffed cherry tomatoes, bbq chicken pinwheels, buffalo chicken dip, firecrackers, etc.... 9. I love the first one! What about alternating tables between the two options?

  11. That looks great! I love the flowers in the center of the table! Did the restaurant do that or the people who put the shower on?
  12. In my opinion: Advantages to having placecards on the tables: Everything is done exactly how you want it. No confusion for guests on where to sit Disadvantages for cards on tables: Extra work for you People wondering around trying to find their names Advantages to placecards on a table near the dinner area (you could probably put it on the same table as your guestbook if you are doing one): Guests have a choice where at the table they want to sit Less work for you More guests will sign your guestbook if it's sitting by the placecards. Disadvantages: People might miss them an sit wherever I guess it all depends on how many guests you have and how much work you want to put into it.
  13. I haven't been to Ocho Rios for a few years but from what I recall it took about 40-45 minutes on the shuttle from the airport. Check in should be a breeze unless you arrive before your room is clean...so in other words try not to get there too early.
  14. Your stone shouldn't move. You should get it fixed asap and if I were you I'd take if off and put it somewhere safe until then. Also, make sure you take it to a reputible jeweler!

  16. Is the wedding at a resort? Unfortunately, Maui does close down early...our hotel bar closed at 9 and we found a neat little local hangout down the road at a golf course...I wish I could remember the name of it! We also cabbed it into Kihei where there is a small shopping "village" with lots of restaurants, bars, etc. most of which with live music nightly.
