  1. Very cool! Thanks for the link, I could spend a few hours today on there
  2. Beautiful dresses, ladies! I think you could go with either up or down...sorry I'm not much help!
  3. That was one thing we loved about Dreams on our site visit, they give you a daily schedule of activities under your door every night for the next day. A few folks said that the bus into town was alright but they leave pretty late (10, I think)? We just cabbed it downtown instead. Unfortunately, the lobby bar is the only thing open after 8 at night so we knew it wouldn't be good for our group of 100+ guests. It's kinda small and gets crowded quickly. They had a bonfire almost everynight I believe on the terrace outside of the lobby bar. One night they had a live band, another was casino themed, and one time they had some sort of simulated golf game up on a huge screen. That was all that we saw. I wish Barracuda would've stayed open later! It's the little tiki bar on the beach with swings for barstools!
  4. I don't think you are abnormal! My BMs, FI's mom, and even my FI keep asking when I'll go and start looking...I have no desire yet! I'm kind of a procrastinator to begin with but everything else about the planning excites me just not dress shopping yet. I know I have plenty of time but still. Maybe it's the whole idea of being disappointed in not finding the perfect one right off the bat?
  5. Susan! I've been waiting and waiting for you to come back so I can hear how it all went! Everything looks great! Your dress is stunning, love your flowers, the wedding party attire looked awesome, and you two look so happy!! Can't wait to hear all the details! CONGRATULATIONS!
  6. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to walk on sand with heels even with a runner unless it was made of wood or something sturdy. Where are you getting married? Is there an option of having the ceremony on a terrace or patio overlooking the beach/ocean? Otherwise just both go barefoot and don't worry about the height difference!
  7. I was just in a wedding last month where we carried white lillies. However, I love how light green looks against the blue..what about green hydrangeas mixed with cream roses? Or red really stands out as well!

    Vow Renewal

That sounds like a lot of fun!
  9. Relax, have fun, and best wishes for a beautiful wedding!
  10. You're probably dancing away to your dj right now under the mexican stars... You two are so cute together. Can't wait to hear how it all went! I wish you two the best life has to offer as husband and wife.
  11. Oh and don't forget about the Riu Santa Fe, set to open up in winter of this year! I'm thinking that's where we are staying with our guests.
  12. Most places charge per person per hour. Sunset is charging $75/person for 4 hours. Is that the kind of prices you're finding? And I've heard, not sure if it's true, that the Pueblo Bonito isn't a good place if you are looking to have kids there..
  13. Congratulations! Will you find out the gender?

  15. This is an awesome thread! Thank you so much. Sounds like the prices are pretty comparable to here. Do you happen to know if the Dos Equis was the amber or the lager (red or green label)? The reason I ask is because my FI loves the lager and wants to get a few cases when we get down there (he can't stand Corona). Now I just need to find out if we can bring in beer/liquor to an all-inclusive. I don't see why not, just means we aren't drinking their stuff! We'll sneak it in if we have to
  16. I did mine! I do the a version of the reverse curl but I lay on my back on our leather ottoman. I then lift my legs straight up off the floor and pull my upper body forward at the same time. You can really feel the burn! Thanks for the post, I'll definitely have to try some of these other ones.

  18. Wow. First off, how did she meet this dude? He could be a lunatic! No I don't think you're being a bitch at all. I don't know what I'd do in your situation, sorry I'm not much help, but it's a complicated one. I think you're handling it the right way by telling your BF that she needs to make a decision. They do need to start acting like adults. If they really feel like they don't love their spouses anymore, then they need to tell them. If they do love them then that's just wrong. Keep us posted, I'd love to hear how this turns out.
  19. I also just came acrossed this today. I hope you are recovering well from the surgery. You are so strong. My most sincere sympathy goes out to you and Reggie. And just know that there are many other woman that go through the same situations. I good friend of mine's sister had quite a few miscarriages and then two healthy babies. I'll be praying for you as I did for her.
