Allaballa - did the woman let you get away with it for free or did you have to pay overweight charges?
  2. That was pretty much the response I got when I emailed my documents to her at first, so I mailed them as well!! Better safe than sorry!
  3. Hee hee, last night I did a little online shopping thanks to this post and this is what I bought: For me: Surprise gift for groom: Buttons for bridal party: Cute stuff! Not necessary and made me spend more money, but it was fun!!

  6. The Rius in Negril look really nice too. Our main reason for picking the Ocho Rios over the Negril ones is that the ROR is newer, so was getting better reviews in that regard...

  8. Wow! Thanks Cali for the great detailed review!! Sounds like it was quite the adventure but I am so glad it turned out wonderfully in the end!! I can't wait to see more pictures!!! (hint, hint, hint...)
  9. Lizz - which website did you use to find out that info? I would like to see what it says about Feb!!
  10. Well.... my wedding is in less than 6 weeks, AAAGH!!! Last year I lost about 13 pounds but in December there were way too many tempting treats around and I put 5 lbs back on. SO, I am now SUPER motivated to lose 10 pounds before the plane flies to Jamaica! I know I can lose the 5 I just put on pretty easily, but it's those last stubborn 5 after that which will be tricky! I've thrown out all the Christmas treats and will just be snacking on yogurt and fruit. I'm recording my calories and my fitness using Sparkpeople, and I plan on doing weights at least 3 times a week and cardio at LEAST 3 times a week. I have an elliptical trainer at home so I actually aim to do it each morning for at least 15 mins, plus more cardio at the gym after work. Wish me luck!!
  11. Try Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople, it's a great site with forums but even better, it's a free way to track your calorie intake really easily!!

I don't know when you would ever have to do that. It sounded perfect and there were no problems. She then put them on shuffle to play while we had our pictures taken. So you should be absolutely fine with a burned CD during your ceremony at the RIUOR. Great to hear Cali, thanks for the info!! And I think that is such a great idea to have some music playing while we get our photos taken, I may just have to borrow that one!! By the way, we all cant wait to hear how your wedding went.....
  13. I Googled "Bridal Makeup" and found some pics to add:
  14. Your makeup looked great Julie! Want to come to Jamaica in 6 weeks and do mine? LOL!!
  15. Please post pics of your wedding day makeup or makeup looks you like so the brides-to-be can get inspired!! Thanks so much!
  16. I'm also clueless about nails but want to get mine done before the wedding, so thanks! I found this thread really helpful!
  17. WOO HOO! Welcome back and congratulations!!!! You look very happy and it looks like it was beautiful! Can't wait to read all about it and see more pics!!!
  18. I'm just going to go with whatever's provided! I am already worried about our RIDICULOUS luggage weight restrictions out of Canada.... booooo!!!
  19. Yikes, it was $250/hour last year, and that was the price quoted to me by Chandlyn so I kind of hope she'll still honour it...! Well, we'll see, I still want it regardless but the $ keep adding up!

I did hear back from her yesterday and they arrived safe and sound, so hooray! I will be legally married in Jamaica in 5.5 weeks!!!! AAAGH! I have to lose 10 pounds in 5.5 weeks!!!!
  21. Oooh goody!! Lots of ROR weddings coming up! I can't wait to hear how Cali's wedding went! And Albianstar's not on this list but I believe her wedding was Dec 28th, I hope they come back soon to tell us how it all went!!
