Hey! I am getting married in two weeks and all I provided was notarized copy of our birth certificates and passports! Perhaps your lawyer was talking about a couple getting married in a country other than Jamaica, because different countries have different rules... Jamaica's are simple, which I love!

I go Spinning once a week! I really like it, but yes, at first, it's tough and it seems like the longest class EVER!! My butt does get sore but you get more used to it after a while. Wear tight workout pants so you don't get a wedgie! Once I started Spinning I really started losing weight, it really helps melt away the pounds! I think my class is less intense than some, the instructor is in her 50's, but she's fabulously fit!

Those look great! I ordered mine from discountmugs as well and also had to pay the darn Customs brokerage fee - my charge was $80! But I still feel I got a really good deal and am really happy with my mugs!

Hi Marlon, We have 42 people coming and at one point I thought we may go over the 50 mark and I emailed Chandlyn to see if we could still have our dinner reception at Mammee Bay, and she told me that for over 50 people, the Plantation restaurant will have to be booked... this was several months ago, so you may want to check to see if that's still the case first...

I think I might give my guests the heads up that there has been these incidences happening, I dont want their vacation ruined by a robbery! It's really unfortunate that these things happen.

We have 40 people coming and I spent about $15 each on their OOT bags - travel mug, aloe vera gel, SPF chapstick, paper fan, fun straw, and sample sized shampoo. It totally depends on your budget, I dont think my guests are expecting anything so I think it will be a pleasant surprise... I hope! Newfiebride - I totally know what you mean, my fi is soon going to ban me from looking at wedding websites because I keep seeing more cute things to buy!!!

I used to be on that forum too and got the same update email! Just be sure to get her permission to post pics here, I know I wouldnt unknowingly want my pics plastered all over the place by other people!

I dont like this. I think I am going to just ignore this and show up at the resort. I have past emails with him that say we'll just meet when I arrive. So I am going to go with that! I highly doubt he will turn me down and lose my business!

That's strange you have to pay before you go? I haven't heard that yet! I plan on just meeting with Michael when we get there and deciding then... can you try emailing Michael directly and suggest just deciding on a package when you get there?

Hi Marlon, I think you can personalize your ceremony set up any way you like when you meet with Chandlyn. Everything does cost extra though. You can rent an aisle runner, rent chair covers, change the decorations to your colors, etc... I am sure if you wanted to you could bring your own as well though! I am just going to rent an aisle runner and change the decorations to my colours. Just wondering if there is a way to give gifts to multiple people at once (say, all Riu Ocho Rios brides as an example), or do you just have to type in everyone's user name and send individually?

I have gone through THREE TA's! First one went on mat leave, second one was a nutjob and got fired. Third one is working out OK, but I agree, I really dont want to have a switcheroo on the wedding coordinator as well...!
