  1. Hi Tara, I just talked to Maggie. The name is Jeffery Jewelers. They are on Hennepin Ave. in downtown Minneapolis. She highly recommends them, absolutely loves her rings! I hope this helps you.
  2. Tara, Tadd had Maggie's rings custom made in Mpls, I think. I will call them tonight and find out where and let you know. I have not seen the band yet, but the ER is gorgeous!
  3. Lisa, have a wonderful time and HAPPY WEDDING!!
  4. I hope your day is perfect. You didn't let us know what style of Ketubah you decided on...take a picture of that too! I wish you both great happiness.
  5. Sarah, you were a beautiful bride! Just glowing with hapiness. Thank you for sharing your slideshow with us.
  6. Hi Michelle! My daughter and I bought our pashs in Chinatown, NY. But before we bought them I did a search of "Pashminas" and found the girls who had used them for their weddings. It was unanimous that their guests used them! My dughter's wedding is just after yours, on Jan 19th, and I have been assured that the evenings can get a little cool...especially if your reception is outside. I hope this helps, Lizzy
  7. Chantal, you were a beautiful bride! OMG, your dress, hair, and maleup are perfect! I love the picture of him holding you from behind and I think he was kissing the side of your face. You had your eyes closed. It is a very tender photo of the two of you. I look forward to seeing all of the other photos when you get them! BTW, how did you like the canopy tour? I have been looking at that for Maggie's wedding. Was it very expensive? Did you do it as a gift for your guests, or was it a suggestion as to something the guests might enjoy? Sorry about the questions...
  8. The update is : False Alarm!! Even though she is close, she's not close enough. It couls be 2 hours or 2 days, they just do not know. The Mom and I are very bummed! I will let you know as soon as the baby is born, Please hope for sooner than later! Granny is waiting, and waiting, and still waiting. Baby seem to like it inside the womb! Please come out, I want to hold you and tell you all about your daddy and your poppie.
  9. Susan, you look so gorgeous in your gown! What are you, a size zero? Honestly, you look like a million bucks! You and your husband obviously were so enthralled with one another! Best wishes to you both! You have been one of the classiest ladies on the forum, and it shows not only in your actions, but also in your words. Happy wedding to you...you were married on my birthday! I like to think of it as one of the best days on the calendar!
  10. Jaime, how cool is that? He sounds like a very nice guy. So now you are hanging with the big guys, huh? Thanks for sharing the info!
  11. No, not Maggie. I am going to get another grandbaby, maybe today! Teri, one of my daughters-in-law, is in the hospital as I type. Her contractions are sporatic but have been between 6 and 7 minutes apart throughout the night, and she is almost completly dilated. They think the baby is a girl, but Buzz is hoping for a boy to carry on the Di Marco name. Teri is the wife of Buzz's only son. I am so excited!!
  12. Thank you again! You are all such a great group of friends! The dinner was great with food and family, ah, my favorite combo
  13. Shelley, just look at how much you mean to all of us on this forum! Amos' life isn't the only life you have touched. We are all supporting you, today and tomorrow. We will help in any way you need. The east coast girls want to come and get you drunk. Others are willing to make calls or emails for you. I hope you let us help you! You and Amos will take care of each other, but tell the rest of us what needs to be done to take care of the postponement, please. Much love, and kudos to the both of you for the way you are handling this situation. You guys will be just fine! XX1/2 Lizzy
  14. Alisha, I am so happy that you are comfortable with your decision. Second guessing can tear you apart! Your guy is very special...bless his little heart for seeing what was important! Tomorrow will be a very special day for the four of you. Not one of you will ever forget it. Enjoy your time with your dad and stepmom and remember to bring a camera!!!! We all want to see this very special wedding. The news about your stepmom's tests is wonderful! Thank God she didn't get any more bad news! Yippeeeeeee

  18. Gwynn is lovely! Very photogenic. The photos are very tasteful and yet provocative. I like your work. This post will give our ladies a wonderful idea of what you do on a BD sitting (a little play on words). Thanks for sharing with us.
  19. There is an old tradition that the mother of the bride has the honor of presenting her daughter with a wedding night penoir or neglige. I have looked at Macy's and didn't see anything that I felt was pretty enough for my Maggie. I also looked at Nordstrom online and at some very tacky places online. Does anyone have a favorite place that would have something lovely and traditional? Oh, and it must be white. I don't like the shorty hoochie momma stuff. Something romantic and pretty. Thanks for your help ladies.
  20. Hey Isabell, welcome to the group! I know you will find answers to all of your questions on this forum. All of us are here to help each other. Enjoy!
