  2. Can I just say that I am very jealous of all you ladies not yet married at ASP!!! We've just had our 1st anniversary and wishing we could do it all again :0) We were only there ourselves so I can't answer many of the questions, but we had Dulce on the day and she was great, we had our wedding dinner in MoMoNaHaNa which was absolutely fabulous - they put all our wedding flowers on the table, had our cake there, played a special song for us and we had 2 personal waiters and anything we wanted!! I didn't want to have loads of flowers lying around dying - too expensive for that - and I wanted something a little different, so I had a bouquet of wire, beads and little dragonflies made up and artificial flowers were woven into it. I added some ribbons on when we got there. I made hubbies button with artificial heather and a little dragonfly. We used the North side (now ASP side) gazebo as I didn't really want to be in full view of the poolside. All in all it was the perfect day for us - even though it was the only day it rained in 14 - and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. If anyone would like to see our photos let me know and I'll post the link. To all you ladies still to go - good luck and best wishes.
  3. I know I'm from the UK and the rules might be slightly different for us, but we just had to take a Certified Birth Certificate when we got married there in September.
  4. Hi, The Cove side is definitely the old South side going by the photos. I haven't been on here for a while but have been following the Aventura posts. I got married there is September last - we had the free package, married in the old North Side Gazebo (Aventura Spa side now), got their flowers for the ceremony site (brought my own bouquet & buttonhole), had our meal in Mononahana and used the Resort photographer so if anyone needs any questions answered then just ask! This is a link to our official photos - http://http://s224.photobucket.com/a...20Photographs/it was raining so most of them were done indoors. I wasnt particularly sure on some of the poses and you can see that in the photos!! All in all though, the photographer was great and if it had been a better day - every other one in the 14 days we were there - then there would have been some better located photographs!! Here is also a link to our unofficial photos - just in case you are REALLY bored!! http://http://s224.photobucket.com/a...20Photographs/ Isabell

It sucks for my FI and I because we wanted to have our honeymoon there - but we'll see how it goes! Do you know where this info came from? I've checked out the Palace Website but can't find anything! I'll be VERY disappointed as we love this resort partly because it is adult only.
  6. We got married at Aventura Spa Palace and it was absolutely fabulous - the best day of my life! We have visited Aventura, Moon, Playacar, Beach and Sun Palace and Aventura is definitely our favourite which is why we picked it for our wedding. We were there on our own but were very well looked after by the Wedding staff and any other staff who found out we were getting married - the maid even left me a little good luck card on the morning of the ceremony!! I have to say though I am a bit disappointed to read that they may be letting children into the resort - not that I have anything against children - but I feel the atmosphere of the hotel will be ruined - it much more suits being adult only and is one of the reasons we have visited it 3 times. In my opinion then, ASP is definitely the choice for weddings!!
  7. Hi, I'm getting married there in September this year - can't wait!! We've been there on holiday before and LOVED it
  8. oo oo oo this is where I'm getting married in September - yipee!! We went there for a holiday a few years ago and as soon as we knew we were getting married and wanted to do it abroad, this was the only choice for us! We've visited various resorts along the coast but there was really no comparison....... I love reading reviews on where we are going and where everyone else is going Not long now
