Aww I feel terrible for that couple. Hopefully one day this will be a funny story for them to tell their kids. I went to a wedding recently where the hotel had a trolley and was going to drive all the guests to the reception site. The trolley never made it and this bride was sitting at the reception site wondering where the heck her guests were. Her wedding started late b/c of this and the reception got cut short. Then there weren't enough seats at the ceremony so people were standing in wet grass (it had just rained) and people were sliding and falling all over the place. Then her friends did readings but the mic wasn't on so no one heard it. It was just one disaster after another. I felt so bad for her but the whole time I kept thinking that if I was one of her bridesmaids I would have helped her. I don't understand how the bridal party doesn't help out in these situations.

Are you absolutely in love with the peach? Could you do coral with the aqua? Of fuschia? I think that would look lovely. And if you really want a sharp contrast you could always do aqua and red. A lot of the girls on this forum have done aqua and red and it looks great. Also a lot of times I know girls have asked the resorts/WC's to get them light pink flowers and they have always gotten them bright pink so it's possible that some countries don't have a lot of light pink colored flowers.

Kelly these pictures are awesome! You look absolutely beautiful (not to mention that Everton looks very handsome) and you are just glowing from happiness. I am so happy for you! Aww all your stuff is so cute! I love the stuff that looks like a picnic basket, ridick cute! Your guests must love it. And don't worry about not having enough starfish your guests will totally love your crafts no matter what! The AHR will be amazing no matter what. Remember that you married the man you love and that is all that matters. I am so happy for you!

I'm sorry to sound like a brat b/c I felt like everyone nominated deserved it but it's about time! Ann and Heidi def deserved this. And not just for this month but for many months before this! I'm glad you girls finally got the recognition you deserve! ~I do heart all the other nominees though, please know that. But these girls did deserve everything they put in.

Jess I agree with Jessica, I think they were secretly hoping you would have your DW in Ireland. Also its possible that even though LA and Cabo are not far, they are not crazy about Mexico whereas they have been to LA and they like it. I know that probably makes no sense at all, but some people are weird about Mexico, they don't like it. Have they ever been to Mexico? Maybe you could address some of their concerns and show them that its a beautiful place that they will all enjoy. Just hang in there, they will come around.

Jen I hired Juan for 10 hours. I felt it would give me enough time to get pics of everything I wanted. Since you plan on having a lot of guests and have a lot of things planned I would go for the 10 hours. Figure you want him to take pics of your FI getting ready. Then pics of you getting ready. Then pics at the cocktail hour, then the ceremony, then pics of you guys with your family and specific guests, then the reception, etc. If you end up not needing him for all 10 hours you can do 8 for your wedding and then 2 for your TTD the next day. I think that's what I would do. And then I would just do candid photos from a digital camera for the WD.

I picked the second one. I love the way the strapless looks on you. That being said, the first one is just as lovely and if you really want it you should totally go for it. I think the teal would like nice with that dress.
