Would it be possible to have them ship to two locations? Maybe on on the east coast and one on the west coast? This way it would save a lot of money. I remember when I shipped it costs the most to Canada obviously but second to that was when I had to ship to Texas and Cali. But the girls that were on the East Coast weren't that expensive at all. So maybe if we could ship to Ann on the east coast and she can re-ship to the east coast girls and then one girl can volunteer on the west coast for the west coast girls? Geez who knew pashs could get so complicated. *Update: My bf went to Chinatown today and I asked her to stop by and see if the lady was there. She text me from there and said the shop was still closed. Not sure what's going on anymore.*

Okay I just sent Maria the list of people. Even w/o Christine and Lizzy (who already got hers) there is still about 195 pashs total. And I know Jolene said since she changed her date she didn't want them just yet but maybe she will change her mind. I had Kate down for 40, Drea 10 Lisa 15 Courtney 25 Christine 15 Jill 50-75 Julie 20 Maria 15 Angie 4 Claudia (I don't have my list with me at work and I can't remember how many you ordered) And possibly Jolene. *I know Christine doesn't want them anymore b/c her wedding is coming up so close. Maybe there are others who want to get in on this too, b/c $2.75 is what I got them for in NYC so if they are willing to honor that price I think it seems like a good deal. $3.50 isn't terrible. At least to me its not. Its a lot better than $8. Maybe we should all try ordering from this place. Hmm I'm pretty sure I had close to 200 requests so we would def have enough orders. What do you guys think? ~Julie the shop is closed so I can't even ask someone at her store to honor the same price. Or else trust me I would have done that already. I think she and her brother own the shop.

Catherine I remember you mentioning something about him not wanting to propose until all your finances were in order. Did he mean the money for the ring or did he mean other things like credit card debt and stuff like that? Have you ever tried talking to him to see what his main concern is? Is it b/c he wants to make sure he has enough money saved up to get you the ring that he feels you deserve or is it b/c he wants to wait to be debt free?

Thanks guys I hate disappointing people, especially my BDW friends. The thing is I'm actually a little scared b/c I know they have been cracking down lately. Actually to be honest I feel bad b/c a lot of times when they do arrest people it turns out that the money for the counterfeits was being used to fund terrorism. I would hate to think that a simple gift for guests at a wedding is funding terrorism. My FI thinks I'm reading too much into it, which I probably am but still. I don't know, I'm just upset.

Ok so I went to go pick up pash's on sat and the lady I go to wasn't there. So I noticed that the little shop was closed so I asked the guy next door what was going on and he said "5-0 came and took her away." (People call cops 5-0 here) Anyways, I was pretty upset b/c she knows me and is able to get pretty much any color and quantity I need in a hurry. So I don't know if she got arrested or what. So I decide to walk up and down chinatown b/c a lot of shops have them. Some people were demanding $8 a piece! Are they f'n crazy? $8? Well I kept walking and the cheapest I could get was 3 for $10 but they didn't have a lot of inventory. I was going to go back on wednesday but then I realized that it would not be enough time to get them to Christine in time for her wedding so I went back yesterday. It was still closed. I don't know what to do. My dad told me to just wait awhile b/c they always arrest these people and then let them go once everything dies down. But Christine and Drea's wedding are coming up and I don't know what to do. ~Lizzy were you able to find out where you got the pashs in NYC for $2?

Wow I can't believe your having all these problems with BM's. It seems to me that the one that is having marital problems is probably going through a tough time right now with trying to be happy with you and feeling so upset inside that her husband did something as despicable as that. Making rude comments about your mother is unacceptable! They should not be putting their two cents in if you haven't asked them for advice or opinions. And the BM who expects you to drive her to her fitting is unreal. I mean I can't believe she told you that she shouldn't have to help b/c she didn't volunteer. Does she realize that accepting a BM's position means helping out? Wow, she should be helping you out not asking you to take her places on the day of your shower. I'm sorry that you are going through all this. Hopefully things will get better and they will work out in the end.

I wish I had good advice to give but I don't. I will tell you this though: as Ann said I would also get married with a twist-tie around my finger. A ring is not important to me. Its nice to have but its not the determining factor in whether or not I would say yes to someone if they proposed. I know you want to marry BF so bad and I want it to happen for you also. I will say this though, if you guys are struggling with finances I don't think Tiffany's is the way to go. Yes the novo ring is stunning but it is ridiculously high priced. You could get the same diamond in the diamond district in NYC for 1/3 of the price. Whatever happens I just hope that you do something that will make the both of you happy.

I've been all over Italy but I wouldn't have the slightest clue where to do something like that. Let me ask my dad he travels there often, maybe he will know of a nice place. How romantic.

Jamy I pick jurors all the time. There are ways to get out of it by not being a desirable candidate. If it is for civil trial he just has to pay attention to what kind of case it is. For example if it is a car accident all he has to do when he is called is answer questions in a way that will seem like he has a bias. By this I don't mean a bias against race, gender, etc. What I mean is he could say something like "My wife got into a car accident once and she sued and she didn't get any money. I am still upset about that." They will send him home. Or if it were a medical malpractice case he could say "Most of my friends are doctors, I love them." Either one of these comments shows a prejudice to one side and he will not be picked. *In the meantime I will keep my fingers crossed*

Normally I would say a gift certificate for a place for kids like Chucky Cheese. But now thinking about it I realize they can't appreciate it. Kids that age need immediate gratification. Okay I am so bad with kids b/c I am not up to par but how about those Webkins dolls for the girls (assuming of course that they are into those) and something that is very "in" with the boys. Sorry Christine but I have no clue what that "it" thing is right now. I will have to do research to find out. But I'm sure someone on this forum will know.

Lizzy I am so glad that the trip turned out well for you. I can't believe you got the pash's so cheap! Where on broadway did you get them? I get them on broadway as well but I have only been able to get them for $2.75 each. Hmm I wonder if they are the same ones. Do they say "Pashmina" on them. I know that probably sounds ridiculous but there are some that are cheaper that don't say that, but have fallen apart so I don't like to get them. I am so glad you got such an amazing price. If you tell me where you got them I will go there tomorrow and try to get that price for all the other girls. I am by no means a saint but I know what you mean when you say that it was kind of difficult to get. It's not like going to a store and just scooping them up. It involves bargaining and sometimes I have to wait for the lady to get her guy to go get the colors I need. And carrying them home def sucks. But it makes me happy knowing that it will get to all my BDW friends. I'm so glad you were able to find them. *Side Note* Did you stay at 60 Thompson Hotel? My friend dates the guy who owns that hotel. It is a really nice hotel. I hope you didn't walk to the hotel with those pash's in your hand it would have killed you. I certainly hope you took a cab ride or at the very least a subway ride home. It's not so bad picking them up, what makes it difficult is dragging the pash's home. LOL. I looked like a lunatic the last time I did it.

While I have never been to DR, I have heard from many people, especially those that are Dominican, that Casa de Campos is extraordinary so if it fits your budget I would def go with Casa de Campos. Although I have heard that Punta Cana is amazing as well, so I am sure that no matter what you pick it will be amazing either way.
