Yes when you use someone from outside you do have to pay for their travel and expenses but sometimes an outside photog will cost about the same or even less than a cabo photog. It all depends. What specifically are you looking for? I noticed you specified Juan and Leigh? Are you not interested in using them for a specific reason or did you just want more options? What are you looking for a certain type of photog or are you basing your decision on costs?

Umm off the top of my head Bradley Fraser, Thomas Barron, oh yeah and Jonathan Thrasher and Jill Higgins on this site do destination weddings as well if you wanted to fly someone in. Jonathan did Jessalyn's wedding and Jill did Lenita's wedding and they both did an awesome job.

This kind of stuff ticks me off too. It is so rude. I don't understand these people who think that pets are just like possessions, you just put them to sleep when they don't convenience you! Agggh! Would they put their kid to sleep if it was an incovenience? I sincerely doubt it! People should have to get a license to own a pet. And they really shouldn't allow all these greedy pet mills to keep breeding animals that will eventually just end up putting most of them to sleep if they can't be sold. Sorry I know I am going off on a rant right now but I'm pissed. My "friend" bought a maltese when she was 13. Well when she moved in with her FI she decided that the dog was going to be too much work so she left it with her parents. Her parents are now retired and moved to Florida and they don't want the dog so they are forcing her to take it back. She had the audacity to say to me that she is going to put it to sleep. When I shrieked in horror and asked why she said "I just don't think it would be fair for him to stay home alone while we are at work." She works from 9 AM to 2PM. Is she freaking kidding me? Well I found that dog a home real quick. They would have to put me to sleep before I ever allowed her to harm him. Mind you he is like 4 pounds (he is a teacup maltese) and he is adorable! What the hell is wrong with people?

Okay I don't mean to get graphic but I went to a strip club once in Vegas (Rhinos) and my guy friends thought it would be funny to buy me a lapdance. Being a good sport I agreed. I did not touch this girl (not that I would want to) nor do I think your allowed to. She started out in some skimpy dress then took it off and was left with nothing but a thong. She danced a little in front of me, then hopped on my lap and I swear to you was dry humping me like I had a penis. She finally got off and then proceeded to do some kind of hand stand and her legs landed around my neck with her you know what in my face. That was just too much for me. I ended the lap dance real quick. Also I know in most places you are not allowed to touch and that's fine but its not so much the touching aspect that bothers me, its the fact that she is touching him. She has her privates on his privates, she has her cooch in his face, they bend over and pull the guys ties under their legs so that their faces are wedge into their booties, gross. Okay I realize I sound like a party-pooper who is about 79 years old so I will stop now. LOL. Sorry didn't mean to go on a rant.

Jenetta for the past few days I've been waiting for you to put up a review and post some pics and duh...you had already done it, but of course I missed it. Okay first of all you look absolutely gorgeous. I love the dress. That is so cute that you got to wear it in two different styles. And what a great price you got for that dress! I'm so glad you were happy with the final product. Secondly, I'm sorry the rooms were a little bit of a downfall but I'm glad that you had a great upbeat attitude and enjoyed your wedding anyway. The pics are so cute, I can't wait until you get more so we can drool and devour every single one. That really sucks that the DJ situation did not work out well either. Catherine you are awesome! I wish I could be so cool about it like you are. Your BF better realize what an awesome GF he has! Jules you make a good point about having to trust your FI. You are absolutely right if I can't trust my FI then I probably shouldn't be marrying him and better I find out now than later. I know I probably sound like a baby but I just don't like it. LOL. Its not so much a trust issue as much as the fact that I don't want my FI's face in some girls bootie. (Hello, did anyone see the strip club scene in Knocked up?) In a way I feel like I am giving my FI permission to cheat on me. I know he's not technically going to be cheating on me, but you know what I mean. I guess what I'm saying is that he will probably end up going to a strip club and I will just have to deal but if I find out anything I will him. LOL.

I always thought I would be pretty cool with this. But then my FI told me what really goes on in those places (he has been to many bachelor parties) and I almost passed out. Honestly some of the stuff they do I consider cheating. Maybe I am old fashioned but I think to myself: under any other circumstance if I found my FI with a topless girl in a thong gyrating her hips on his lap, I would kill him. So why should this be any different.

Eeew I am not going to go off on a racial rant but I just wanted to say that I really cannot fathom how it is 2007 and people are still making comments about interacial couples. My FI is Irish (I'm Spanish) and I've had rude people in his neighborhood ask if I'm the nanny!! Who does that? Uggh I really feel for the brides on this forum that have people making snide or disparaging remarks, it is sooooo not acceptable! Okay now that my little rant is over with, Kelly I am sorry to hear that his family has not booked yet. What are they going to do? I guess people always think they can do things last minute, but once they realize that it will be more money they will probably complain that it is too expensive. Hmmpfh. Kate is right if they can't make it that is their problem, not yours. And the only people who matter are you, E, Liam and the rest of your children. I hope everything works out for you, I know you must be stressed.

B/c Jessalyn is now married I want to nominate her, Tammy B, and Ann for the Mrs. MOTM and for the soon to be's I want to nominate Catherine, Heidi, Maria, and Paula. I don't care if I'm only allowed to nominate one, I'm from New York and I make my own rules, so there! Since I am not really allowed to do this, I want to say why I nominate all of them: Jessalyn: Is possibly one of the nicest people ever. She is always willing to help anyone out and goes above and beyond to do so. Tammy B: Do I even need to write it? Is she just not the most amazing person ever? Who else goes through so much family crisis and drama and still has time to be a friend here to everyone? Not to mention the fact that I heart her. Ann: Once again do I even need to state the obvious? She has helped so many PV brides (especially the Las Caletas) brides. She ran to find Jamy to give her the starfish and anyone who is willing to do that on the day they arrive to their wedding weekend deserves a medal if you ask me. Catherine: Have you ever seen a thread that Catherine has not responded to? The girl goes above and beyond to be supportive to every single member's vents, questions, and ideas. Paula: She always remembers everyone's b-days, the days they are leaving for their wedding, their wedding dates, etc. Basically, every single important date that a bride has, Paula remembers. If that is not awesomeness then I don't know what is. Maria: She is so supportive of everyone. And she offers really good practical advice. Furthermore, she always tells it like it is. I heart people who will tell you the truth no matter what. I heart you Maria! Heidi: She has been so helpful to all the Dominican Republic brides. She is to DR what Ann is to PV. Not to mention the fact that she is so nice and funny and everybody loves her. Okay I just wanted to get that off my chest. I believe in giving compliments, where compliments are due. Okay, I'm done now. LOL.
