alot of the resorts will let you rent a PA system if you don't want a dj.

for mexico the rates stay high until after april 15th. in hawaii, they drop a little after january 15th.

wow...overachiever reviewer...you just stole sarah's award for best review! i'm so glad everyone had a great time at dreams. it is such a fun resort. your welcome dinner looked super fun and mariana did a great job with the decorations...i had those blankets as well. gosh i hope things are ok with her. she is so amazing and selfless that i really hope she is ok. ps. now i want to know why rev. parson's and juan hate each other. JC is so nice i can't see him having beef with anyone.

i forgot to mention that i mixed the mexican and caribbean buffet for my welcome dinner with the 4 desserts and it was sooooo yummy!

Don't get me wrong - if I could have kept it then my feelings may be different. aww kash...i agree with alot of the stuff above... cabo was so much fun...everyone still raves about the wedding a year later...we wanted to do a reunion trip but i got pregnant. i know this sounds weird but by the time the cake rolls around, people are too full/drunk to care about it...that is why i got a smaller/less expensive cake than what i originally wanted. also, a bonfire after the reception is overkill UNLESS it was a seperate event... but your dress...i have to disagree...you looked so gorgeous in it and when you get your pro pics and see all the beautiful detail you will be glad you spent the extra $$ because it made you look like a princess

dreams books to capacity most of the year. they probably book faster than any other resort in cabo. it is not unheard of to have the hotel booked full 6 months in advance. they are already booked full for alot dates in october and november. last minute bookers are going to either not be able to get a room or pay twice as much.

everyone really liked the spinach ravioli... we also did i think the asparagus soup and it was really good. for entree we did: a filet medallion and sea bass as our choices. everyone said they were great...i was too excited and hardly ate anything. i remember the food at my welcome dinner better because i was not nervous...but our group are picky eaters and everyone loved the food. in hindsight, i should have splurged and paid extra for the lobster/steak plate...a few brides had it and said it was amazing!!! it would have been about $2400 more but it would have been worth it.

great review jen! yes, they are on mexico time so when they are late, just grab a marg-y and watch the ocean...there are worse things in life.

there are very few charters that have boats that accomodate that many people...we used redrum Cabo San Lucas Mexico Sports Fishing Charter Boats – Redrum Sportfishing heather i think owns it...

sarah, great review...thanks for the heads up about epic...i will def. shoot them an email with a little scolding. dreams does book really full but if you are firm enough you usually get the room you want. alot of times it depends on the availibity (what is clean) when you check in... also, i agree with himitsu...i would avoid it.

i got engaged in august and married in may so you should be fine...the only thing that may be a problem is getting the date you want as the more popular palces and dates book fast.

i can't recall if they have an ATM but you may be able to get cash from the hotel on your cc. i just brought a small amount of cash ($100) for taxis, tip etc. but hardly ever use all of it because you can either take the shuttle into town in lieu of taxi and the bus is really easy to use....and since it is an AI you hardly need any cash at all.. sorry this isn't great help but i have just never needed to pull out cash from there and i have been there 3 times.
