We are planning on having our welcome dinner at dreams though!! let me see if i can get them to give you a free site visit for your welcome dinner....most likely they will say yes. they now give 2 free nights.

  4. angela is right...dreams cabo books VERY early...so if you guests are not planners you should get a group block. cons of a group block: the hotel sometimes has sales so the rates can be very cheap (but usually for a limited time). you need to put a deposit down to hold the room penalties if you do not book most of the rooms or release your rooms on times. pros of a room block: set rate for the room for your guests... rooms are set aside for your guests so even if the hotel sells out (happens ALOT!) your guests will still be able to stay with you VIP treatment at the resort free site visit

  7. FANTASTIC!! ann, your eyes and skin...you look so ethereal!~ beautiful....everything looks amazing... leigh: great job! beautiful pics, i love the emotion...jackson (i think that is what we are going to call him) liked the first song and started dancing in my belly. wow, do i have the best job...to see all these amazing weddings and share in the emotion and love. i felt like i was there!
  8. i personally wouldnt do it...most of the snorkel tours include your own snokel gear in the price...also you will see bringing that stuff down can be a real PITA
  9. karla you look so gorgeous...you and your husband look right out of a magazine. juan: great job as usual... ladies: no more pressure on juan or he will go on strike
  10. i posted this...hope it helps: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t1016 it gives a list to the photog so they know who is who, but gives the photog alot of creative reign

I already sent a email to the sales manager and general manager...but if you wanted to write a letter i would also forward that to them. it sounds like they are trying to make the situation better by moving Marilu but i think they still should know what is going on.
  12. ann, great review...i wish i had heard from you before now...marilu called me back and i asked for an update of your event and she said everything went perfectly...another thing to complain to the general manager about...not like it matters since she is no longer working as the wc there. but i will send a message.

  18. here is the contact info for the new WC at Dreams. Gabriela Rojas: New wedding coordinator - [email protected] Marilu is now in another department. tammy
  19. Hi Jen, I used sam as well and thought he was really great to work with. ladies, if you use him, be sure to mention this forum as i was one of his frist weddings. he is very sweet...he does travel alot so sometimes it can take a little longer to hear back from him
  20. hi matt, welcome...you just helped shoot ann's wedding with Leigh Miller.
  21. hey ladies...please don't feel discouraged...this was a cabo wedding forum first so us cabo brides do tend to outnumber the rest... but i remember when ann (akh) was the first PV bride and Jackie (ryjax19) was the first RM brides and now there are so many PV and RM brides. regarding the photog issue...be firm with the resort to see if they will budge. maybe it is their policy to have a 3 night min. rule, but maybe negotiate 2 nights...or see if a photog will do it and include the cost as part of her package...some up and coming photogs are willing to pay for their own travel costs to get started in the DW business.
  22. Welcome to Flickr - Photo Sharing is a place where you can upload your pics and manage them and share them with others to see...
  23. Loretta you look gorgeous and sol did an amazing job...not like i am surprised. she is so talented. i love the smile on your dh's face when he sees you for the first time.
