  1. kash! that is so annoying about emeline and the bar...and i guess i am super annoyed because i know we had thought of doing some sort of system with shells so you could keep the costs down and she made it seem like it was an inconvenience and you should just trust her. on another note...any pics? i want to see!
  2. i go to this bridal show every year and they have a pet clothes line for weddings, special events and they had this pug in a pink dress with pearls...so cute.
  3. jaime, a friend of steve's got married there recently...the bride was a member here but she isn't on the computer much so she hasn't posted a review...let me see if i can track her down.
  4. here is a policy i use for travel's medical insurance. usually the price is $49-99 depending on how long you stay etc. VFL Travel Mate.pdf
  5. usually to get the site visit you need to negotiate it in your group block. they will not give it to you until you have the contract signed and deposit paid for the block. once you get your site visit scheduled you can schedule a tasting with mariana with items that you are interested in picked out of the menu....we have a menu as an attachment on this forum.

  8. great review kristen! i do recommend all brides understand that it is very important to have a timeline of your event to give to your day of coord or even your dj. we got lucky that juan helped our even run on schedule. also, be careful what you lock up in the safe. i have been to dreams cabo 3 times and have never had a problem but better safe than sorry...do not travel with anything that is irreplaceable....get insurance on your rings...do not keep a large amount of cash in one area (i hid alot of my stufff)

  10. hey ladies, the image hosting is down (the quick upload under the smilie box). Until it is fixed you cannot use it to host pics or delete any of your pics. I am trying to get the programmer to help me but i heard he just got in a car accident so he is not able to answer emails, etc....so please be patient. in the meantime if you want to post pics you can upload them to photobucket and post them. we have a BDW photobucket acct if you want to use that. username: caboweddingforum poassword: mexico use the IMG code
  11. kelli, great review...i remember one of the most annoying things with juan was how long it took him to get my pics to me...i bitched to him every day. it is even worse now since everyone booked him at the same time (you, karla, sarah, edyta, tammyb) so i am sure the wait is even longer. hopefully you'll get them soon.

  13. we spent waaayyy to much for our invites but DH picked them out so i wanted to get what he wanted since he let me have what i wanted for everyhing else. they were $1000 (about $14 each)

  18. ok, here is an update: the shoutbox is back up and i enabled all the plug ins. also, profiles are working again. and the timestamp seems to be correct. i am working on trying to recover all the lost pics but i may not be able to now i am gonna work on imagehosting...wish me luck
  19. hey jaimelynne, i was just thinking tonight...what about a long weekend like "veteran's day"? (nov. 11)..because then you get a 3 day weekend so they would only really need to take the kids out of school for 1 day. and you have a great date 11/11

  21. also, matt adcock, sol, elizabeth medina are members of the forum
  22. i think entrees are between $30-85 per person depending on what you get...then there is a great ceasar that most will want to get and a salad bar option for like $8 additional, i think. it was a pricey group dinner for us...we paid $225 for the 2 of us after drinks (non-alcoholic) and tip but i also ordered the steak and lobster and DH got an expensive dinner plate as well.
  23. here some posts to get you started: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...al-pdc-ai.html http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...oyal-pics.html http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...slideshow.html and one of our mods, anacgarcia, is going to honeymoon there soon.

  25. ok, i got the shoutbox working BUT i had to turn off alot of the extra like the arcade, etc. so i can figure out where the other errors are coming from. please DO NOT freak out...just reply to this thread with whatever error you are seeing. most likely it is because i disabled it temporarily.
