    @@Soon2beMrsJ....are you doing a site visit at the Palace (adult only) or the family RIU? I stayed at the Riu Montego Bay last year for a girls trip. Nice site but I didn't like where they placed the Gazebo for weddings. The staff was great. Please let me know how you like the Royalton White Sands.....and if possible, take pictures and post. There are quite a few brides on here that have chosen or are considering RWS. Have a safe trip and happy planning!!!

    This is wonderful information....I originally planned on doing a DW on the island but my parents don't want to fly (they can drive to a port)...so I have been considering doing a cruise wedding. It seems as if the cruise wedding packages don't meet my needs and I had never thought of using an on island planner. I will check this out. Thanks!

    I was thinking about doing wedges also but then I found some heels with rinestones that match the beading on my dress.....so I will be wearing heels and I will take some flats for dancing.

    I am having a hard time know with planning because I have parents who are refusing to fly. My mom wants me to do a cruise wedding which is not my vision at all. But of course since she is my mom, I am weighing those options. My first choice is Jamaica.

    Hi everyone....I am planning an October 2015 wedding....still trying to decide on the resorts. Looking at Secrets and Royalton White Sands. I will be going to Jamaica June 6th to Royalton White Sands for a site visit and I am hoping to visit Secrets again for a second tour. Hopefully, I will be able to make up my mind and book a site.

    Very nice! I am thinking of doing fake flowers also.....since I can't bring them back with me, I won't have the memories. I am actually going to do my bouquet from silk flowers as I would like to have a keepsake. The real one that comes with the wedding package will be use as a decoration and to toss to those eligible bachlorettes.

    Congratulations......I attended a wedding July 2013 at Moon Palace. It was beautiful and that is also where my FI proposed to me. Moon palace does allow children and the resort credits were nice. Good luck and happy planning!
