Getting closer... so slowly!

It doesn't seem real to me most days. When we went wedding band shopping and he put the ring on his finger and said, hey how about this, I really like this one? I looked at his hand, wearing the ring and semi-freaked out inside. THAT made it feel real to me. Then later, I was back to normal and this all feels like playing make believe Putting on my dress does not elecit the "real" feeling that I keep expecting it to.

Great ideas, my family in particular got very confused a few years ago by the whole save me a beach chair for my sister's wedding, that I chose to go very literal in my wording. Why can't all the guests see how witty we want to be!!

I really like your bags! The mini maracas are so cute.

I didn't want any more planning to stress about after our wedding day, plus we return a few days before Christmas, so we had our "AHR" before the wedding, more like a party shower, engagement celebration. I think with destination weddings, you can do just about anything you'd like. If you prefer to have something months later, that's okay, it's all in how you word the invite!
