  2. I don't have any for sale but have you checked out this website http://www.wrapwithus.com/Products/Starfish-design-wine-bottle-stopper-in-sand-colors__3127-DC.aspx
  3. That's a great price would you mine telling me where she is located. I am assuming near you in Montreal? I don't live that far from Montreal and this is a gift I have definitely thought about doing, and with that price it's worth it! On another note I am also having my wedding at the Majestic Colonial but not until December 2012. I totally would be interested in hearing all about yours when you get back!!
  4. I love Vistaprint I too have gotten so many free items, t'shirts, pens, notepads, bags, hats etc.. I did brochures and do not disturb signs, and also my STD's were done on here as well along with magnets we made to send with them....
  5. Thanks girls...We have decided that we are going to have ours on December 29, 2012 and instead of a full-blown wedding reception we are going to have a Welcome Back Cocktail Reception for all the family and friends that couldn't be with us on our special day!! I appreciate your words...thanks again
  6. Over 5 ½ years ago I became a single mom of three boys –ages 15, 12 and 6. At that time my oldest son thought that it would be a good idea for me to have a MySpace account. I was reluctant at first and then decided why not I had so many friends and family with one, with my son’s help I made a page of my own. It was about a week or two later that I had received a private message from a gentleman. He had read my profile, thought we had a lot in common and was interested in talking. I responded back because he seemed genuine and I didn’t want to be rude, but really wasn’t interested. We did correspond back and forth for about two weeks and then he wanted to chat online, I did agree. After about 5 weeks he asked if I wanted to go on a date with no expectations. Before I even had time to think about it I said NO!! I was hesitant because I felt meeting someone that you have met online wasn’t such a good idea. However, after I thought about it I realized that he was a wonderful man; I knew that his occupation required a lot of compassion and caring and figured why not. I then sent him a message saying yes but that it would have to be in a public place. We met at a local Amusement Park and spent 8 hours together. It was truly the best time of my life; it was like we had already known each other and the conversation just flowed. I never believed in love at first sight until that day. We have overcome many obstacles, including the distance of 90 miles between us, and have realized that we love each other more every day. Needless to say this is where it all began and here we are now planning our wedding. The Proposal - We had talked about marriage a few times over the years, with me even kidding around and telling him he had till our 5th anniversary to propose or else. But on October 29, 2010 when he did, it still came as such a surprise. Our night started out with us visiting friends and then heading back to the house to have a few drinks and enjoy the fire....We were getting ready to settle in and watch a movie and he said he needed to talk to me about something. I wasn't paying too much attention to what he was doing, sometimes I am oblivious to my surroundings....Even when he got down on one knee, it didn't click. He asked me if I would be his forever love and spend the rest of my life loving him. Shockingly, my first response was did you talk to my dad? He had always said it was important to get my dad's blessing and I didn't realize he had found the time to do just that. He chuckled at me and said yes, I was shaking and crying not only did I receive the most beautiful ring; I became engaged to the most loving, caring amazing man!!! We are going to celebrate our love for each other in the Dominican Republic in December 2012….with a few family and friends by our side.
  7. Wow that's a great price but I don't need nearly that many...probably only going to need about 15-20....
  8. You are Welcome...this site is so much help and has so many ideas....
  9. We are going back and forth on having an AHR, I want to, FI doesnt want to bother. I feel since we are having a small number of guests actually attending the DW that an AHR will make everyone else happy. I have had so many friends and family ask, " you are having an AHR reception right?" So here;s my dilemma...I wanted to have it about 2 weeks after the wedding, which makes the date Dec 29th. Being that it is winter and we tend to get a lot of snow, FI thinks we should wait and have it in the spring!! I am just not sure..Any thoughts suggestions?? I would love to hear what everyone thinks!!
  10. This was a wonderful idea and I am not surprised why your guests loved them. I am having a small amount of guests traveling with us so this might just be an option for me..YOU have definitely inspired me

  13. Do you mind telling me how you did it? I have tried and tried and just can't seem to take weight off..I was dieting, exercising, and still nothing! I got so frustrated and disappointed I stopped doing all of it. Now I have a year and three months before the wedding and I really am not happy with my size. Any words of advice would help.
  14. I think it depends on the resort. When I asked about it at our resort we were told we could have one long table....

  19. They are both great dresses, but I like the white one just a little. Bit more! Tough choice...
  20. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!! Definitely let me know how you make out.....and wow 6 months...be for you know it, the day will be here....Congrats, by the way
  21. The dress is definitely pretty. Did she purchase it already? If not maybe you can get her to try something else on while she is there trying that one on. Plus I think as the mother of the Bride she would want something more sleek! She would look gorgeous, sophistcated and elegant especially with the right accessories. I agree with stluciabound that she would look like she was going to the prom in this dress!! Good luck with everything.....The good thing for me is I am having my son and my grandson give me away!! At least that's what I am hoping for. My grandson isn't officially here yet but by the time I get married he will be 16 month old!!
  22. Good for you for standing up for not only youself but your FI as well!! Way to go!!!
