    This is a really tough one. Personally, I wouldn't be too thrilled about going to a shower, paying for my dinner and bringing a gift. Wording will be everything, and I'm not sure how it is going to work for you. I agree that, it should be hosted at someone's house. Just have some snacks and drinks, and the shower theme would work perfectly fine.

    This is a scary story And I am sure it happens to so many people. If you are not happy, then it doesnt matter what people tell you. Do what makes you happy, and if that means getting a new dress then you have to do what you have to do.

    I cant believe some of the prices for these online dresses. Its so tempting just to buy one! I have a dress in mind, but I must go try some on first to make sure I actually like it on.

    Were going to sleep apart. Its just going to make seeing each other at the "alter" that much more special. Like seeing eachother for the first time Do whatever makes you happy though.

    Personally, I would wear the e-ring and band separately. That ring is so beautiful, that trying to fit a band with it might take away from it. Get a band made that you like, and wear either one alone.

    I would choose DR over Cuba. Much easier to communicate with people in the DR and I found that there are more resorts there that cater to specialized weddings. Plus, if you have any guests coming from the US, I dont believe they are allowed into Cuba. That was a deciding factor for me.

    The flower is cute. I agree, that it adds that extra colour that you need. The only other option would be just the ribbon, but I say go with the flower.

    First off...YAY to Dreams Palm Beach. Thats the resort I have chosen. I would not use staples. I am actually punching a hole thru the corner, and tying them together with a piece of raffia. You can use raffia, or a matching coloured ribbon. Im not a big fan of the staple though.

    I am making mine in Word 2007. It actually has quite a lot of options and features. A lot more than the older word versions.
