  1. I'm a nurse too and I completely agree. And I wlll probably be putting generics in my bags too. It's cost effective and if people really need it, I don't think they'll care one bit if they're getting Ibuprofen as compared to Motrin. It’s really not ideal to be giving people meds that they’re not opening themselves… even as a nurse, we pretty much open oral meds in front of the patient so they can actually see what it is, then give it to them to take. Individual packets of OTC meds just seem like a better choice to me.
  2. This is a great site! I planned on ordering candles from this site already. Thanks for showing the DIY section!
  3. Hi girls! After getting measured for my wedding dress, I realized how much smaller on the top than the bottom I really am. I'm hoping to find something to make my chest look alittle bigger than it really is. Does anyone know of a good brand of push up bra to wear under the dress (maybe with some padding?)....
  4. Jersey Shore: Fist pumping!!! (hahaha I am from the jersey shore so I know first hand!)
  5. I agree!! They need to add more brands and resteraunts. However, it is really scary to see the actual calories of some of the "healthy" foods at some resteraunts that are on there. I usually check the app before I order to compare calories of different meals in order to make my decision.
  6. I'm SO upset!! I really wanted to do this but just realized thats the weekend of my bachelorette party!
  7. Let's keep it alive!! I'm Nicole, getting married October 21st at Valentin Imperial Maya in Riviera Maya. Save the dates went out in December and my invitations are going out June 26th with an RSVP of august 26th. When is everyone else sending out invites?
  8. Muscle Milk light is fantastic! I also LOVE the "Pure Protein" bars (really cheap at Walmart or Target). The chocolate chip is really yummy. 20G of protein in one bar and only 200 calories. Good for breakfast with a banana and a glass of OJ.
  9. Mena Suvari= american beauty
  10. This is a great idea!! I also love the idea of travel pillows and blankets. I didn't even think of getting hostess gifts, but I will definately add this onto my list!
  11. I'm sorry to hear that They should feel honored that you are willing to do that for them! They're being very ungrateful right now but hopefully they will realize that eventually. I had been planning on it, but that sort of pissed me off, considering that specific sister is not paying for her trip at all-my dad is. It's not like my wedding is cheap for me. I don't mind paying for them, I just want them to appreciate the fact that I'm paying $265 per dress x 3 and I don't feel like it's being appreciated. After trying them on, they had to leave quickly, and I was standing there, paying for them all, and haven't heard any sort of thanks.
  12. If I was able to cut out baked goods I would be much more in shape!! Not to mention, my new cupcake hobby!! Might have to put it on a hiatus until October 22nd lol No gym today but plan on doing an hour of cardio tommorow- 15 minutes walk, 15 minutes run, 15 minutes bike, 15 minutes high impact eliptical.
  13. Thanks! My mom lives in Brick. It's fun down here in the summer! I love it! Also, your wedding date is the day before my birthday
  14. That is a good point! Also, I calculated the costs of my MOH's big extravagant NJ wedding and between the dress, shoes, hair, makeup, hotel room (2 nights), gift, bachelorette party, bridal shower etc.... It added up to over $1500!!! It was a great wedding, but just because its a DW doesn't mean its any more expensive than an at home wedding. Plus they get a vacation!
  15. Hi girls! Congrats to everyone! I live at the Jersey Shore (no stereotypes here!). More specifically near Belmar, NJ. My FI and I are getting married 10-21-11 in Riviera Maya Mexico! I'm really excited for this thread! I bought my dress at Kleinfeld (AMAZING experience! Even if you don't buy anything it was wonderful!). And got my BM dresses at a place in Toms River, NJ that sells Alfred Angelo and guarantees the beat price. I look forward to being part of this thread and sharing ideas!
  16. I'm not a fan of dollar storers but those bags are fantastic! I might have to get over my dislike and start searching them for good deals like that! The starfish is also adorable! Where did you purchase them?
  17. I didn't mean the question mark after like, sorry
  18. I have an email from Ana with the pictures of the reception locations. They're not great pictures but it gives you a basic idea of the location. Message me your email if you want and I'll send them to you. Also, does anyone know how many people are at a table and if we can pick a color for our linens?
  19. Going to make delicious homemade chocolate cupcakes tommorow for my MOH's birthday! (I love to bake! )
