I am making these as our wedding favours - alot of work with the hemp fraying and trying to fit it into the beads but it will be well worth it knowing that I made these myself This was "borrowed" from another bride on this forum.

it all depends on the dress I guess and what makes them more comfortable. If footwear isn't an issue for you maybe you could ask your bridesmaids to wear something that makes them comfortable but in particular colour you had in mind. I think for my girls I am just going to buy them each a pair of flip flops. We will be married on the beach so they will have the option of barefoot or flip flops. It all depends on how hot the sand is on their feet

Hi! First off I am very to sorry to hear about your miscarriage. It's never an easy thing to go through. Having kids before or after marriage is more of a personal choice. Some people (like myself) have been trying for years to get pregnant but have had no luck. Having a child will happen when the time is right regardless if you are married or not. And age is just a number!!! I know its harder to deal with when you get older and I keep trying to tell myself that age is just a number. It's all in how young you feel A destination wedding sounds like a perfect idea for your guys! However it seems that you aren't going to make everyone happy. A con of having a destination wedding. There will always be someone upset but if its what you two want than you have to follow your heart! There are relatively cheap places you can married in Mexico and it isn't going to cost each person $3000. Take a look around this forum, speak with a TA. There is tons of help here with millions of threads! Good luck and follow your heart and your dreams!

Hi Tropical Love, I'm in the same boat as you - we are getting married in October 2011 and it has been suggested to wait until summer 2012 to have AHR. I really don't want to wait that long to have a reception (if we end up having one at all). Mind you it wouldnt be so bad to even have a family / close friends bbq the summer of 2011 that way those who are unable to make it can still celebrate your marriage with you. This is also something that been coming up in conversation and I don't have an answer to this as well. And they said planning a destination wedding would be easy lol

What are your thoughts on this dress for a beach wedding? I'm trying to stay away from the formal dress look.

Have fun - enjoy it and try on things you would never picture yourself in - don't limit the choices!! I cannot wait to try on dresses again! LOL

When I first took a look at this thread I really liked #3. But the more I look at the dresses - I would have agree with the majority here. Dress 1 looks fabulous on you!

I am with you 150%. Work week I am okay, the odd chocolate hit probably because of stress but come the weekends I fall completely off the wagon.
