I don''t, but I have a friend who does most of the time, including clubs etc in Canada. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. She only wears her real one around the house and to special occasions.

I think the program is set up in a way so you don't hurt your body. The recovery allows your muscles to cool a bit from all the jumps. I actually find it very soothing on my legs (although they still burn with the streches) and it allows you to push harder the next day. I am planning to add the abs to recovery day in the 2nd month, but I don't think I know what I'm in for yet LOL so that decision will be made then But if you think you need to go for a run, why don't you. Like my coach says... listen to your body. I take my dog on a LONG walks on recovery days (wooded area with a lot of hills . I'm taking my measurments on Sunday... I know inches dropped within the month - went to order my dress last friday, and the lady asked me what I was doing to loose weight cause she was able to do up the sample now (unlike two weeks earlier).... So Insanity is working

I also haven't been to DR in August, but been to Jamaica, Cuba and Mexico at that time. August is a bit more busy than other summer months as a lot of european tourists come, and these days same applies for Canadian and US tourists. The prices now for AI are very much comprable to renting a cottage, but it's still not even close to what it is between Dec and April. We found during our travels that end of May and June, then Sept to end of Oct tends to be the slowest times....

I'm just about to complete my 4th week of Insanity. It's super intense, but it's awesome. I already see results (I have completed Turbo Jam a few times and Turbo Fire, so I was prepared for cardio). You use your own body weight for 'weight' training, so you don't get the bulky arms. I already see results, and I'm down about 8 lbs. Which is not bad considering that I was already after other workouts..... I can post my results once I complete the first section (4 weeks)... Good luck- I think it's worth every penny!

Ok, so me and my FI joke around i.e... there is always time to change the name on the ticket, or if I tell him he's getting a belly, he tells me to find someone without one etc. etc. etc. Since he's a bit older than me and we met when I was 20, I joke that by the time I reach 30, he might need to find a new 'trophy' wife LOL. Because we're in a a good/healthy relationship, we know and trust each other that it's just jokes. However, if you have reacted that way this quickly, there is more to it than the ownership or 'it's over' email. Maybe perhaps you should have talked to him before you cancelled everything, but deep in your heart something told you to do what you did. I think everything happens for a reason. We had friends who cancelled their wedding 3 weeks prior to the big day, but eventually did end up eloping on the islands two years later. No one thought wrong of them, and we were happy that in the end things did work out. The one thing they didn't do was talk bad about each other after the wedding cancellation; still showed respect. So as long as you or he does not bad mouth one another, people should understand. It's not their sandbox to play in.

I have a question for the brides who have just came back, or are going before me . We're off in Sept. to get married. Can any of you tell me if there are vendor booths on either side of the hotel and if they have sarongs?

The dress is beautiful. If you want my opinion LOL.. it looks too big on you. with regards to cleavage.. that's really a matter of personal likes and dislikes, but I have a friend who' on the higher end of Ds and when she has more of a heart shaped dress/shirt, it really, really increases the size of her breasts.. but again, matter of personal likes... I would wait and see when she has the dress taken in to actually fit you properly and then see if you still want more 'bood' showing. Once it fits you better (hugs your body more) it will have a totally different feel..... Good luck!!!

Our friends got married a few years back and it was them plus her morther/stepfather and brother with wife. We couldn't go because of finanaces... and she said she loved it. We're not having many people either, I stopped stressing over who will and will not come. We know our parents are coming and siblings (well - my siblings anyway). We have only witnesses - no bridesmaids entourage... this makes things easier. If my MOH doesn't book, I can always ask someone else......

I work in the travel business (no leisure or weddings etc) and I book a lot of groups. The standard for airlines is to have their flight/prices out about 11 months out; however, this also varies by airlines. The only thing is that they have lots of time to change the flight dates (if they don't fly everyday). I think your TA is full of .... ask another TA. This may sound a bit silly, but we will put 2.5 hours on ipod for the reception, and the rest on cd. After the reception, if people are still up for it, we will spend more time at an open bar and see if we can bribe the barman to put our cd in.

Because we wanted to make sure that our family comes and they said they would, we also didn't want to put them into a financial hell. We did switch hotels (same Island - just different location) and decided that for our anniversary we will go to the more luxiurious hotel. We like both hotels, and decided that it is important to us to have our family there.

I agree with the past few posts. I wouldn't ask. Budget on what you can afford, and if they do contribute later, that will be a benefit. We told my parents (because FI's mom is unable to help) that we do not want help. My mom already told me that if we are short on something, to let her know - quietly. However, if you do want to ask, don't do it straight out...I think that's rude. Just when you're talking about the wedding you can mention this cost and that cost (WITHOUT ASKING THEM TO COVER). Based on their reaction, you will see if they are even considering.

I just completed my 2nd week of Insanity. I found the first week to be brutal (especially because I'm a smoker). 2nd week went by easier. I do find that I need to fuel my body with proper food ... just like they tell you to. Otherwise no energy for the workouts. I found that TurboFire was really good to get lean. It helped me drop about 15lbs during the one cycle workout (less the last four weeks - didn't have the dvds). I'll let you guys know what my results are in the next two weeks, once I complete the 30 days. But I think that if you keep to the workouts and a healthy meal plan (like the one they provide) you will definately see result...

Hutchets...I think they changed the times for ceremonies. Mine is at 3pm. Misty - you should check with your travel agent. Ours is due two months prior to departure date.

If you are getting it done on your real nails, it won't last. You feet will, but not the hands. I find that every time we go away, my toes still look amazing, and my hands are done by the 3rd day. I'd get it done there. Get it done a day before your wedding so it dries properly.

We waited until we got the resort to confirm our date and time. Our departure dates HAVE changed, but not our wedding date. So we are still good with the dates on the invite, and all we had to do was update the departure/return dates on our website. I wouldn't put the departure dates, as not everyone may want to come on that day e.g. come two days later a day earlier etc.

We're departing out of Pearson, and she said she'll get one at a local LCBO and then some at the Duty Free at the airport. She'll then distribute the bottles among family so everyone brings a bottle LOL Since my boss is leaving for a trip shortly, I'll have him check the duty shop to ensure they have champagne there...

We're not worried about the cake.. I can't even remember ONE time when I ate a cake at a wedding. We'll just cut 'diet' slices LOL and it will fit. We'll have about 20-25 (if all goes according to plan) and that includes some kids. With champagne, my mom said that since it's her only daughter getting married, she'll buy REAL champagne at duty free (a few bottles). So we don't have to worry about that.

Misti, I went back and read the contract from the wedding manager (Stafanie something). It outlines the packages and with the Free Pacakge they tell you there is no limit on guest up to the capacity of the hotel. The only thing they mention is that the cake and sparkling wine is for 10. I think it's a good idea to go back and re-read the contract.
