No problem. It came up when my bf was booking her trip, and she opted for the deluxe wing - she was saying I won't have access to it LOL I knew it was just the restaurants, but wanted to be sure so I don't look like an ass LOL

We're making CDs (as to the original plan of Ipod) and labeling the order we want them in... 1st dance, bouquet etc etc etc... We'll be there a few days (4) before our wedding, so I'll find him LOL and tell him But then again - we only have about 20 people coming...

So, I need to vent today a bit. We booked our wedding and opted for just the standard rooms, which is saving us a lot of money. Anyways, we have some guests (close friends actually) coming to our wedding, and they have opted for the higher category rooms. Now, they keep asking us why we are just going to the regular rooms, it's our wedding blah blah blah... anyways, I was talking with my bf and the moh who is just booking, and they were at our TAs and asked if we (the bride and groom) will get an upgrade. TA said; depends on availablity etc (which is something we are aware of and if we arrive, I'm sure if the rooms are available, we will get it). Then she said her FI will make sure we get the upgrade. Now my FI's bf did/said the same thing. All of this making me feel so small. We travel quite often with my FI for vacation, and we don't require the Ritz all the time. This is why we can afford to vacation 2 times a year. I know it is our wedding - but this is what we have chosen. Most of our guests are in the standard room, this is what we booked - why can't people just leave it at that. AND if they do want to be nice and ask/argue the upgrade for us, keep it to yourselves and make it a surprise. We don't want to spend the additional 300/person to have a sitting area. We rather use that towards our actual honeymoon a couple months later. Why can't people just leave it at that?

Ladies, I have a rather silly question. If you stay in the standard room, do you still have access to the 'quiet' pool? Or is that pool exclusively for the deluxe wing?

Hi Ladies I've searched everywhere - including etsy to find a pefect pink tip plumeria flower for my hair. Well - since I had no luck finding a silk one that's already made into a pin, I ordered just the flower with hopes that I can make a pin out of it. I'm totaly lost when it comes to DYI craft projects. 1. Can I make it into a pin or something that actually holds it to the hair? 2. If I take the flowers as is, do you think the hair salon/dresser will be to use something so they stay in the hair? You advise and comments are always appreciated

Since I'm paying $200 plus alterations for my dress - I REALLY DO NOT CARE what happens to the dress . I still would like to bring it back with me though. My TTD is the day before we leave - any tips on how to get it to 'dry' a bit before I take it on the plane? And I'm not standing there with a hair dryer ladies...

You ladies were not kidding about the 2nd month - holy molly, flying cows!!!! I'm almost done the first week and my upper body is ahhhhhhhhhhhh... but I also found that the recovery day definately works your abs... I'm unfortunately taking a couple days off from exercise because I'm sick as heck and can't breathe.... but feel so guilty about it

I remember when I called UPS once, they said something about when the total value is under a certain amount, they don't charge duties.... I found that I wasn't charged on 'lighter' packages.

I don't think you're over reacting. I would of been pissed with the one month after us. I'm sort of in a similar place, but with my BEST FRIEND! She's waiting to get engaged, and keeps saying the wedding is this month, then this month etc etc etc. Well that kind of puts me in a dumper mood because I simply will not have the money to organize things for her because of my wedding. She's not getting it. If she plans her wedding a couple of months after mine - she'll have me at her side for everything to do with her wedding. ....

Because you are asking for the rates now, you are being quoted brochure prices. Your price will go down IF the operator doesn't fill the plane, hotel is not filling up etc. Not sure where you are located, but out of Cananda, a lot of the airlines will be bringing their prices up because of fuel surcharges. There is no REAL guarantee that you will have a price drop, but that of course doesn't mean there won't be. When we originally got our price for Jamaica it was $1598/person. We already took our price drop this month, and now our cost is $1442/person. The price only went down by $156/person, but it did. If you decide to book for that hotel, keep an eye for the costs going down. If they do, have your agent go back to the operator and ask about the availability of the seats on the plane (if you are traveling out of Canada this is especially good thing to do). This will give you an idea of how slow or quickly the flight is filling up, and the chances for price reduction. We had our agent check, and with only 75 seats left, we took the drop. Wasn't worth losing the $156 over perhaps another $40.

I followed the nutrition plan to a T the first two weeks, but then got lazy with preparing the meals etc. Still followed the general rule of eating, and after 4 weeks, I had good results. 9 lbs down and 13.75 inches altogether....

That's bunch of bs. I'd ask them for their courier info and their account number and send it back to them. I can't believe how this is working. I'd call your credit card company and see if they can help with getting your money back since you didn't get what you paid for. I just completed my Month 1 yesterday (with a few days off during the last week - wasn't feeling too well, but with a 3 day delay - finished it - didn't skip any workouts, just took days off in between). So here are the results thus far: March 2011: Chest: 39 R. Arm: 12 (? - can't figure this one out - it got bigger, but looks slimmer:) L Arm: 11.75 Waist: 33 Hips: 40 R Thigh: 22.5 L. Thigh: 23.5 Weight: 177 April 2011 Chest: 36 R. Arm: 10.5 L. Arm: 10.5 Waist: 31 Hips: 37.5 R. Thigh: 21.5 L. Thigh: 21 Weight: 168 Total inches lost: 13.75 Total weight lost: 9 lbs Not bad at all for 4.5 weeks Can't wait to see the changes after I'm done this crazy program The first 2 weeks I stuck to the nutrition guide like it was the Bible. But the last 2 weeks, I didn't. I still followed the general rules of eating but couldn't get the actual meals listed in due to time constraints etc... Share your results if you have them down........

Thank you for the info... we are going with the beach party as well. Your dj price is so much cheaper than what I'm being quoted $250/hr. So we might just bring our own Bosc system. How did you set up the paper lanterns? Keisha told me they don't hang them, so what we're thinking of doing is bringing a bunch to kind of seperate the party area, place them on the ground with glow sticks in them. If you have a picture of your beach party, please share with us.

Krypto.... we were originally going with the Royal package, but decided to downgrade to Free. There isn't much difference, unless you are looking for a massage and a free shirt. Oh, and the room upgrade. But the difference in cost ($1000US) gives you extra to spend on upgrades. With the free package, I booked my hair and make up at the ROR and it's $150 with change. You still get 10% off when you book, pay 50% on booking through RenovaSpa website. They don't require you to use it, but if you go with Caprice, and it's included... why go somewhere else? Do a search on the forum for hair and make up ROR. There were several threads with the info. Good Luck.
