  1. Could you post a picture wearing the dress. I'm having a hard time visualizing what it would look like on. Thanks.
  2. 1 hour dog walk, followed by P90X plyometrics
  3. Carly, that's fantastic. You will love it. I am very excited for you.
  4. Just finished P90X plyometrics. Ouch but good ouch because it is a wicked lower body workout and I need serious toning up.
  5. So since starting the BL9, I have been doing well. Doing my cardio and P90X. Yesterday, I step on the scale and I was up 4 lbs from the day before (naked so it wasn't what I was wearing). After nearly having a major meltdown, I decided to just take it in stride, went on with my day, did my normal routine, did my P90X. Got up this morning and just as sudden as they appeared, the 4 lbs are gone again. What the hell was that? Could you imagine if that was my wedding day. I guess there is a reason people say only weigh yourself once a week. Thank goodness yesterday wasn't weigh in day.
  6. Wow Amy, it all looks amazing. Congratulations! I hope you have an amazing wedding next week.
  7. Sungoddess, I agree it is crazy expensive. More than my dress!! But it is very hard to say I can spend that on something I will wear only once but you can't spend that on something you can wear repeatedly. I am still hoping we will see something he likes that is much cheaper.
  8. I picked up individual tylenol packets (box with 3 packets of 2), box of 24 individual moist towelettes, and hand sanitizer packet of 2 each for $1 at Dollar Tree. They don't have Dollar Tree in Canada so I did a trip across the border. On the same trip I picked up individual bottles of aloe vera, individual advil liquid gel caps (box of 4 packets of 2) and individual first aid kits all for $1 at Target. I'm sure Dollarama probably has some of the items here in Canada but I haven't checked. There is a thread for where to buy OOT items in Canada if you do a search on the forum you will find it.
  9. Ooh, Angela, that dress is gorgeous. I like it better than all the other ones. Great choice!!
  10. I did a mud wrap once, similar process but it wasn't for weight loss, just detox, skin treatment. If was strange being wrapped in basically saran wrap but I did notice a difference in my skin afterwards. Again it wasn't for weight loss so I don't know if that helps you.

NO! This sounds exactly like my FI. The first suit he found that he loved was a Zegna from Holt's. Price tag $2800. I have to admit he looked super hot in it. I said no way, that is more than 2x my dress. Now we have found an Armani that is $2000 at Saks. I am sort of tempted to get that one because they have a friends and family sale next week and we can save 30% so it would only be $1400, plus they do all the tailoring at no charge. We always have to tailor suits for FI because he is broad shouldered and normally it costs over $100 to tailor one suit. Part of me wants to say $1400 is still out of the question but he wears suits to work every day so he would certainly get good use out of it after the wedding. Really torn on what to do at this point, it is so much money.
  12. I am also trying to find a used Mori Lee for my TTD, different style then yours, but since I'm searching the used dress sites, I will keep you posted if I see yours. No luck so far.
  13. LynnieS, you are stunning in the Reese. Wow!!! Also love the shoes! You will be beautiful on your wedding day.

Thanks Lynnie. I think we are going to order these for our two flower girls. I showed them the pictures and they really liked them.

  16. LynnieS, can you tell me what the back of the dress looks like. I can't find a picture on ebay. Is it a bow? Also can you tell me if the dress on your flower girl is too big because you ordered too big or do the dresses run big. Thanks!
  17. I agree with being honest. My bridesmaids vary in size greatly (from size 2-20). As a result I picked the colour and fabric but let them pick dresses that they were comfortable in. As a bride, I would hate to think that one of my bridesmaids was uncomfortable at the wedding. Maybe something can be done to alter your dress in a way that will make you feel more secure. However, you are also probably your worst critic so I agree with asking someone you are comfortable with to give you an honest opinion on the dress. Good luck.
  18. Dress #1 looks amazing on you. It is really hard to make out dress #2.
  19. Ok now my before pic is also in so I am officially ready to start.
