jennypenny, I would say go try on dresses! I kept putting it off, I didn't want to go until I was at my goal weight. Finally, I was nervous about not having enough time so I just went and was pleasantly surprised to realize that even though I wasn't where I wanted to be weight wise, dresses still looked good on and I actually felt better about myself. I ordered a dress in a size that fit and my goal is when it comes in it will be too big and they'll have to take it in. However, even if I don't lose the weight, I know that I have a dress that is flattering to my shape and still looks nice on me.

I'm sorry this may be a little dumb, but did any of you past Cabo brides have any concerns about your rings fitting? When we got my e-ring it was too big, so we took it in to be sized. My ring fits fine most days but if I am bloated or if I am working out, it is tight. I haven't had it for a summer yet but I'm a little worried that in the heat it might be tight too. So my question is, did anyone notice a difference in how your ring fit while in Cabo? I am wondering if, when it comes time to enchange the rings, my FI is going to have to force the ring on (very embarassing) or if I am just giving myself worries over nothing. Again, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question.

Spanx should be tight and kinda hard to get into, but not extremely tight. You should still be able to breath, sit, etc. If you can't maybe you need a bigger size. Personally I hate spanx because they just push my chub outside of the spanx and give me rolls in weird places.

Wow, Michele, sure sounds like you are on top of things. I heart your small wedding, that is what we wanted (well smallish) but we got more than we bargained for. Oh well, I am very excited about having so many people there, it just means a lot more money than we had originally anticipated.

Okay, I was looking at the listing again and she must have mixed something up in either the size or the measurements. By the measurements, it looks like the dress must be a size 14 not a 12 in which case it may just be too much to take in.

Stacey, it may just be water weight/bloating or maybe as a result of working out, you have gained muscle, in which case, yeah.

There is a listing for this dress on once wed but it is too big for you and not sure if you could get it tailored in time. It is a size 12. Paloma Blanca runs small (I'm a street size 8 but ordered mine in a 12) but obviously not small enough to fit you without tailoring. This really makes me so sad. She was a beautiful girl, in fantastic shape before all this. Now she just looks so strange and plastic. I feel so bad for her. I wonder if she looks in the mirror and wishes she could go back to the way she was. The saddest part is she is only like 22 now. It makes me think she could become one of those plastic surgery addicts. I've seen a couple on like Oprah or something, they were so beautiful and then really turned themselves into freaks all in the name of beauty. So sad. I hope she gets counselling.

I hear you on the waiting to buy things. We have over 50 people already booked and several more who have told us they are coming. When we planned the wedding, I anticipated only like 30 to 40 people total. In my excitement, I started buying OOT things early and am now facing the problem that I don't have enough and am not sure how to get more because I bought them from other brides. You are definitely smart to wait for your final numbers before buying things.

Renee, I totally hear you. I woke up this morning and thought oh no, had to be the day before weigh in didn't it. Oh well, I am just going to hope for the best tomorrow.
