  1. Great slideshow. Thanks for sharing. You looked beautiful!!!!
  2. Beautiful dress and it looks great on you. Good choice!!!
  3. Congratulations!! Thanks for the review. I'm so happy it all went well for you.
  4. Congratulations, Nicole, and welcome to the Forum. You'll find tons of helpful information here. Good luck and happy planning.
  5. I've eaten at MiCasa for mexican and thought it was really good.
  6. Great job, Dino. Glad you're going to be my photogragher in December!!
  7. They look really good. I like the colors and your monogram.
  8. I got some really cute ones online at bed, bath and beyond for $7.99 each and also some at target.com (2 for $12.99). Check them out. Bed Bath & Beyond - Star Block 30" x 60" Beach Towel, 100% Cotton
  9. Oops, some of my words got deleted. Sorry about that. What's missing is that I really love it there and that the Hilton gave us all a good room rate., etc. etc.
  10. I am getting married at the Hilton on December 19 of this year. I've been there quite a few times and all a room rate of $119, and gave my FI and me 2 complimentary nights and upgraded us to a two room suite. I'm using a solo guitarist that I have actually heard play there. His name is Alonso Acguirre. David Flores has been recommended on this site but he never answered my emails. Dino Gomez is going to be my photogragher and Jennifer Hatton is making my wedding cake. Deena from Sweet Dreams is making my Groom's cake. Good luck with your planning.
  11. Translobo's website is TRANSLOBO CO.. Arturo was very polite and seemed sincere. I have gotten several quotes from different companies and got the best deal from Marco at Lifestyle Villas. His email address is [email protected] and their website is lifestylevillas.net. I did a lot of negotiating and only a couple of companies came down from their price, however, Marco beat everyone else and their website looks reputable. He's charging me $55 per surbuban from the airport (each way) and $65 for a van each way.
  12. I'm using Alonso Aguirre for my solo guitarist. I've heard him play at the Hilton before and was impressed. Others on this site have used David Flores. I emailed him several weeks ago, but he never responded. Alonso's website is Alonso Aguirre. Flamenco guitar player, based in Los Cabos, Mexico..
  13. That's exactly right. My guests don't know that I have pashminas for them, however, I have informed them that it will probably be cool in the evenings, so I'm sure they will bring a sweater or light jacket.
  14. Be careful which pashminas you buy. The one I got was a great price ($3.95) but is very thin. I'm getting married mid-December of this year and am just hoping that it won't be too cool for such a thin pashmina.
  15. I like that idea too. For $17.99 a dozen - not bad, since I only need 1 dozen.
  16. Dolphinluck, printing ourselves is probably the more practical thing to do. I had seen those labels, as well, but I would print clear labels if I can find some. Just haven't searched yet. SuzyQ, the travel mugs you're thinking about are pretty colors and the $3.95 price is certainly reasonable enough. It's just that $50 imprint charge that gets me. Wouldn't be bad if I was ordering a lot, but just not practical ordering 12. - LOL - I think this is the first time that I've ever thought about being being practical.
  17. Just FYI - for those of you that don't know what you need before the order gets placed, I ordered mine for the same place. I only needed six, so I emailed them and told them I was a bride from BDW and he (Joseph) said he was happy to help any of the brides and went ahead and sent me my six - for $3.95 each. After I received them, I had another person that is attending the wedding, so I asked him if he would send me one more, and he said sure.
  18. Thanks, Autumn. I think I can get the amount I need, I was just hoping to get someone that wanted to go in with me, so that I could get a generic imprint. However, I'm seriously thinking about just ordering bland ones and printing my own on clear sticker paper. Not sure how much a circle cutter is though. Just don't want to spend more on supplies that the imprint charge would be. BTW - your pashmina guy has been great to work with. He let me order only six and then, I needed just one more and he said sure. (p.s. how's married life?)
  19. Glad you worked it out. BTW - I love your MOH's dress. Very pretty.
  20. They're very similar. There were just more color choices with the one I picked out, such as pink and purple. Are you having yours imprinted?
  21. Dress No. 2 looks like it just doesn't belong at the beach. Are you actually getting married on the beach? What time is your wedding, daytime or night time? The are both beautiful dresses, but No. 1 seems more appropriate. I think I would just give my opinion, if it were asked, and be done with it and let her pick what she wants
  22. You looked beautiful and the pictures are great!!! I loved your BM's dress too. Congratulations - and good luck with grad school!!
