  1. Congrats and welcome!! There is a ton of helpful advise on the forum. Look under the DR forum or do a search...also the wedding reveiws are very helpful....
  2. Well I am in a similar position, except my cousin told me that she refuses to give me a shower because I have already had one!! That kind of struck a cord with me, but what can i do?!? I was married 4.5 years ago, did not last long, and gave more than half of my "new" stuff to him. I believe that any marriage you are having is a "new life"...so in my opinion I think you should have a shower!! Very interested to hear in others' comments on this topic...
  3. Nora, those are beautiful pictures!! Whoever wins your contest is one lucky BDW bride!
  4. Those pictures are amazing!! I love your shoes with that cute dress!!
  5. Ok great!! Thank you again for organizing all of this!! I cannot even imagine how much time and effort coordinating all of the orders and payments you had to do. We all greatly appreciate it...
  6. Love them!! We are thinking about doing MIB's too. Just not sure we want to spend the money for mailing them to everyone!! Where did you get your charms from? Too cute!
  7. Thanks for the envelope size! Did must have modified the $10.00 one quite a bit...your background does not look anything like it...??

  12. Those look amazing!! Where did you get your envelopes, what size? I have been in the process of making ours, absolutely love yours!!!
  13. We are just going to miss you by a couple days. We get down there on the 14th! I agree about the OOT bags, do not want to get crazy, but want a few cute things to show our appreciation for everyone coming down there with us. We are there until the 21st, then to another resort through the 25th. ;-)
  14. Well we had the same issue when we were looking into e-rings. Although platinum is stronger, it tarnishes easier and will need to go in to be polished. They tend to look more worn and less shiney as time passes. My FSIL has a platinum and she has taken it in quite a few times becuase it looses the shine it once had. Now mine is white gold, and i have taken it in to get a quick polish on it while they are cleaning it...no yellow tinge on any of my white gold...although i know many do. It is truly up to your own preference....but platinum has its issues just as white gold does.
