Are you working with a travel agent? I would def. recommend using one that specializes in destination weddings. They can help you and inform you of the diff. resorts and what amenities they all offer so you don't get too overwhelmed on your own. Good luck!
Just an idea since I have no clue what it costs to rent a tux down there....we bought my FI tux from Syms...it was only $200! We could not beat that price and he can always wear it again. We will be away for 2 weeks so renting was not an option for us. If there is a Syms near you, I would check it out. They have the best prices on suits and tux
Congrats...that was one of the resorts I was looking at do have our DW. There is alot of info on here about that resort. Just do a search and you will get more info than you thought you needed lol!
Happy planning:)
My vote is for the travel mugs..I am partial to them as I got them for my guests lol. I have been to many AI and those mugs really do come in handy..less trips to the bar!
OMG good idea with the space bags! I never thought of that! I received our towels yesterday and they look awesome! We ordered the embroidered velour towels with palm trees on it and Runaway Bay, Jamaica with our wedding date. We did not put our names on them so our guests can reuse them after this trip. We used towels 4 less and they were great to work with.
We are doing mugs for our guests...I always use them when I go to an AI as it is greener and they give you small cups. Also the cups I bring are insulated so I get more drinks and the cup keeps it colder
It depends what kind of resort you are looking for. Alot of girls on here get marrried at Riu Ocho Rios...they have a basic free wedding package. Check out the reviews section of the site where the girls post their reviews of their weddings/hotels
Well you already found a place and made a deposit so that is half the battle! Good luck and happy planning...there is soo much info here on this site to absorb:)
I agree with Malisa..if you can afford a site visit, I believe that is the way to go. Between research on this site and working with a Travel agent that specializes in destination weddings, you should do just fine! Good luck
