does anyone know if these would work being put in water for a centerpiece? instead of a whole "drowned" flower, I was thinking rose petals....

This is why this forum is so great...you get a bunch of honest opinions and they have all agreed with you so far! As everyone else has already said, go with what you want! I remember trying to pick a resort that would make everyone happy because this family member wanted this or this person wanted that...well guess what? We picked a resort that had what WE wanted. And most of the people attending are our close friends who didn't give us any grief lol...only a few family memebers are attending. Of course my mom is because she is like yours and said she will go wherever we decided to go because she is happy for us! Stick to your guns and decide what you really want. Hopefully your new FI will be on your side too...thats kinda important hehe. Also, if you choose the Atlantis, do they still have the cheaper side called the Comfor Suites or something like that? I know they used to and that may be an option for the people who are complaining of the cost...just a thought!

I was debating on getting married at the Iberostar but they do not offer a free wedding package whereas the Riu does..girls on this forum have been married at both so just do a search and you will find info for them. In the end, I picked Breezes Runaway Bay lol. Good luck!

OMG I love his face too! That is priceless. Looks and sounds like you had an amazing time! I have a question about your ttd session at Dunns River Falls..was there alot of peopel there when you went? Did you feel safe going there on your own as opposed to going with a travel company? My friend/photographer is traveling with us and is very hesitant about us doing a ttd dress offsite being that we are tourists and he will have expensive travel equipment with him.

I would like to know what the brides did who started this thread?? Help us out!! lol We are having 18 guests plus us so I was not going to pay $200/hr for a dj. We are doing a private dinner on the beach. So I guess if we want dancing then we have to rent a dance floor etc...I thought we could just hang at one of the bars after then go to the hotel's disco. I have debated about bringing the ipod to play in the background....things that make you go hmmmm
