Congrats on 42 years. I am getting married at BRB in October. There is not alot of info about Breezes on here but I have some info so far. Let me know what you're looking for..

  16. I have used Expedia as well but do not know if they charged those fees? I am assuming they charged those fees on everyone?
  17. I think we paid our airfare up front in order to book it since it was only 4 or 5 months before our wedding. I think we also had to pay $150 deposit for the hotel. The remainder of the balance was due 1.5 mos before the wedding...I think! lol But it was nice not to have to pay everything up front which is what you have to do if you book through an online site
  18. My preference is for an adults only resort. I remember last year we stayed at an adults only resort in the Bahamas..well one night we visited the Atlantis and there were kids crying. My FI and I looked at each other and were thankful for the peace and quiet we had at our resort. We are getting married at Breezes Runaway Bay which is adults only and def. not just for honeymooners. It is a fun active resort.
  19. I have to give a shout out to TA Maureen on here. I am using her and she has been great! I am the bride who booked and then a week or so later my resort came out with a 30% off sale. I truly was soo bummed but she rebooked me, actually upgraded my room and still saved me $350 off my trip. My mom saved over $400. The online sites did not beat her prices at all. And I like having the TA to help me with questions and or concerns I have with the resort. Not all of my guests used her to book but I gave them her info if they so desired. You cannot force anyone to use a TA but I think with a DW, it is def. a must to have a travel agent on your side!
  20. I was wondering this myself. I know some of the containers have lids but not all of them...
  21. We are getting married at Breezes and staying there for 5 nights...two days after our wedding we are leaving and going to Couples San Souci for an addtl 5 nights. I think we get the best of both worlds. We get to spend time with our friends and family and have our own private time. We also get to experience two totally different types of resorts
