  1. I say just leave it, she didn't come to you with the issue so why go to her with it. Don't mention any issues, just give her a thank you card, gussy it up a bit and leave it with that.
  2. I agree, very rude. If he can afford to have his own wedding, he can afford to pay for his own kids to come to yours. FI's best friend did the same thing when we were originally planning our wedding, we had talked with him about being in our wedding and a couple weeks later he got engaged and set his wedding just before the date we were planning for. Needless to say he is no longer a close friend because of the inconsiderate behavior.
  3. #40 your waist looks itty bitty, which is always nice I think I like #50 best, the sweetheart neckline is very flattering
  4. I looked into doing it at home and it was 2-3 times more money, a ton more people would come, so this is the "cheap" option for us.
  5. I think it would be fine. Just tell everyone you are going away for the day and do what you want. As long as it is not on the wedding day and nobody knows about it, what's it going to hurt. The wedding day is there day but the rest of the trip is yours.
  6. I thinK I read that Men's Warehouse has 1 or 2 week rentals
  7. Hi ladies, I found an old thread about this but I was curious to see if there are any recent MN girls that have had a BD shoot done or are looking to do one in the near future. The other thread listed Christa Butler and Heather, Can anyone reccomend any other local photogs that do BD photos? What have you MN girls done? Thanks, Sam
  8. Welcome to the forum Ashley. I am from Mpls too. We are looking at ROR April 2010 right now, let me know if I can be of any help.
  9. I'm very worried about this too, we have put it off so many times because of money so we are finally just going to go for it and hope it works out.
  10. I'm really interested to see this too. I have tried going through pics but I haven't seen many reception pics
  11. This is crazy, if you are going to work with people you have to understand that not everyone is going to like you. Plus, there is this little thing called freedom of speech and if someone has a bad experience it's going to get out there is no reason the name needs to be remove that's bull***t. She is going to sue you for reviewing her professional work, maybe you should sue her for harrassment. But anywho, thanks for the honest review, sorry you had to deal with that. It's great that we have this forum to help each other out so things like this don't happen to everyone. Good luck finding a new photographer and I hope have great pics to show us when you get back.
  12. very cute dress, i didn't even think to look at alloy. I'd say khaki pants and a colored shirt for the guys, navy maybe
  13. Thanks for all the great info, that answered a lot of questions I had.
  14. Good thing FI isn't looking at this, he loves fibre. I say just let him get what he likes since he will be wearing it, but if it really bothers you go shopping together and show him some of the things you like, maybe he will find something else.
  15. David's offers the floral dress in solid colors too, but I do like the floral print. I think the shape of the 1st dress goes better with your gown.
  16. I'm going to keep trying. I like trying them on, it's fun, just frustrating to leave with no idea still of what I want. Thanks for all the advise ladies, I really appreciate it.
  17. What are the different options for the cake? I dont like strawberry.
