  1. I'm still debating but Im leaning more towards a DJ. I dont want to worry about whos handeling the music or announcements, etc..

  4. I bought shoes with a heel. I hope they dont get stuck in the sand..lol...but I am 5' 3 and I need some height :-)
  5. I bought mine from Target at the recommendation of a fellow BDW member. Isaac Mizarahi (did i spell that right) has a wedding line there. I got mines on sale for $30 down from $100. Not sure if there are still dresses since I purchased it in March, but its worth a try. You can also try ebay.
  6. Very nice, but I still love the vibrant hues as well!! My colors are orange with hints of yellow and tan (sandy color).

  8. I paid for their dresses and am planning to buy them either a necklace or bracelet (maybe from ebay - I love those strafish necklaces!!)
  9. I'm debating between linen pants and shirt or khaki pants and a colored button down shirt (probably orange since orange, yellow and tan are my colors)

  13. Really!! People are allowed in the resort during the week. Things must have changed since the last time I was there in November. I hope that changes too.
  14. Welcome fellow New yorker :-). Don't worry, They are much more laid back over there. I'm sure they will get back to you. Try searching on the forum for the hotel name and you could see the reviews of brides who have been married there before. Thats what I did for my resort and got tons of helpful info. Good luck!!

  16. Welcome!! I have been to both Punta Cana and Mexico and I found Mexico to be more age friendly for the older and young guests. I witnessed weddings at the Catalonia Riviera Maya which is why I chose it for my wedding. The weddings are gorgeous for such an affordale price!! Its just a win win for my guests and I. Low cost, beautiful wedding, great food and wheelchair accessible for my grandpa (elder friendly) Hope this helps!!
  17. I have decided to pay for the dresses, but there from Target and only a $25 maxi dress so it turns out great!! Are you looking for a traditional bm dress or something simple??
