Hey Ladies, I am going to do a BD session (DIY btw) and am looking for some inspiration on poses, hair and makeup and figured it would be great if we could get everyones take on what is the best and sexiest pics for a BD book by posting some of the best BD pics we have seen or taken in one thread. My session is in weeks and I would love to get some ideas.

I actually had the same questions since my friend just told me this week about getting gel nails since I dont want to worry about the polish comng off or my nails breaking the week before my wedding. I think I'm going to go with them!! My wedding is on the 14th and I leave on Nov 8th...do you think they will hold up? Thanks ladies

Wow the pics did turn out awesome...yay. Now I am excited to do my photoshoot!! It wont be for about 3 weeks but thats ok cause I'm going to hit the gym a little more Morgan thanks for the advice. I totally agree that craigslist is unreliable and if anyone does decide to go that route then please take friends. There are some crazy people out there!! They told me they are completely reorganizing the staff so it is taking them a bit longer than usual. If they don't respond to your email in the next few days try resending. I emailed them yesterday and haven't heard back yet either. BTW - thanks Morgan for the tip I had no idea it was that easy..lol

I am glad he got back to you so quickly. Hopefully he will be able to fix it, but if not take the advice I gave you earlier and ask for at least a partial refund

OMG..That is terrible. They should not only give you the raw footage, but also a partial refund/discount for what you paid for their service being that there product should represent their company/their work and they have the nerve to give you such an amateur video. I think your email is great, but if the response is not what you hoped it would be then send them another one that is a little harsher. Let them know that word of mouth is one of the greatest marketing tools a company could have and that you will be sure to inform the many brides you network with that they are crap.

Jacilynda, I think that sounds like a great idea! Who says you have to be conventional and take the pics on the bed. The floor, a coach...maybe even a table..lol. I plan on using some of his shirts or maybe just one of his beloved yankee jerseys!! See..we inspire eachother Future Mrs. Kt Ellis - thanks for the tip. That's sounds like a great site to know, especially for us DW brides whose budget seems to be going fast..like me..lol...gosh, who says DW are easy..lol

His picks are great and his prices are even greater. We lucked out cause he said the girls on this forum are making him reconsider his prices for next year..lol...There are a few girls whose weddings just passed. I'm sure they will be happy to provide you with their pics so you can see some more samples of his work.

We are also waiting. We say after about 3 years we will start trying. I have school, the economy is bad, etc...but as many in my family says: It's never easy and there is always an excuse why you should wait...there is never a perfect moment or time...the time to have a baby is the time when you want one and when you truly can devote time to them...the rest will fall into to place. I want to finish school first and enjoy being married for a while first so that whole time part is holding me back..lol..What does your hubby 2 B think??
