    Hello Ladies, My name is Evelyn and I am getting married November 14, 2009. You are all way ahead of me. So far I have ordered the Save the date cards, set up my wedding website, sent an email to all about the wedding, booked the date with the resort, asked my BM's, GM's and MOH (all of which accepted!! Woo Hoo). I am now in the process of making my brochures, looking at dresses and getting ideas for wedding favors and decor items. Great Thread BTW!! We are all getting there!!

    Thank you Carson, Lincoln *& Lori and Kerid.. I appreciate all of your feedback. Congrats Kerid!! How do you go about booking an outside photographer/videographer. I am not too happy with what i saw of the company the hotel uses. Also, did you hire a dj and how does that work? Did you send them a playlist or make a cd?? Thanks Again everyone. I certainly appreciate your help!

    Congrats Monica. I have witnessed and am now planning my wedding at Catalonia Riviera Maya. I have already set the date and had no problems at all. If you email the wedding coordinator, Elena, every day then she will get back to you. Just be persistent. I saw a wedding there last November and it was absolutly beautiful. Elena has been great at getting back to me and has helped me with every detail so far. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Email her every single day. That's what I did until she finally confirmed the date. If you are diligent and email her every day she will get back to you. She'll have no choice

    Hello All!! I am getting married at the Cat in Nov and have a few questions. Has anyone had there hair and makeup done at the resort? How did it turn out? Also, i really want my grandfather to take me down the aisle but he is in a wheelchair(can walk short distances with a walker). For those who have been married at this resort: Is it at all possible? Has anyone done this at a beach wedding? Thanks for all of your help!! I greatly appreciate it!! Evelyn

    Hi Morgan, I am hoping to book my wedding at the Catalonia Riviera Maya for next November. I would just like to thank you for this thread. It is very informative. I have to admit I am a bit nervous planning my wedding due to complete lack of experience (i have never even attended a wedding..lol) and this thread is really helpful. I am having a hard time getting Elena to respond to my emails...Did that happen to you as well?? I would like to book my wedding but have not heard back from her. What did you need to book your wedding?? Whick package did you go with?? Thanks so much!!

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!! I'd love to hear pointers from anyone who has been married there. I have never attended a wedding nor planned one...so I am a little lost
