I am doing a blue garter belt (yankees garter belt, both groom and I are big fans) You could also do blue undergarments, a blue stone on jewlery, blue pin for your hair, blue shoes...hmmm.. I cant think of anything else.

Sorry to hear about the drama. I would have done the exact same thing in your shoes. I dont know your friend, but is she the type of person who will cause drama, make a scene or try to ruin your day? If so then do not invite her, but if you know deep down (all anger aside) that although you have your differences and even if she is in total diagreement with you that she would never disrupt your wedding then inviter her. She is your best friends and this happens once or twice when 2 people are very close especially around weddings since she may feel threatened or left out since you will be a married woman soon. I know that me and my bff can sometimes argue but she will never ruin my day. She may have a few choice words for me a few days after I get back from the wedding if something is bother her..lol..but she would not hurt me in that way. If you cant say the same thing about your best friend then not only should she not be at your wedding but who needs friends like that anyway. Hope it all works out and stay strong. Its your wedding day and all that matters is that you and the groom are there and love eachother :-)

That sucks, but look at it this way..at least they took the time to organize something for you. My BM's haven't asked or planned anything for me and probably won't. I would totally love for them to acknowledge me but it seems this whole wedding is on me, I have had no help or input from them at all. so although I think they went about it the wrong way, I think its nice that they thought of you (even though they should not be doing it in your own house..don't they have houses they can throw it in??)

The dress is stunning! I think that many of us go through that stage where you begin to second guess yourself. Try putting on the dress and picture yourself all done up, thats what I do and I usually feel better again. I went through a similar situation where I bought my dress in the first place I went and started to panick that I made the wrong the decision but I put it on and I feel better (esp if my mom is around cause all she does is say how beautiful it is:-) )It's not ppofy at all and I think you made a great choice!!

Hi Maya, We are using a TA Jennifer from this forum. The awesome thing is that she price matches so if you find a package deal online that beats her price she will price match and you maintain the security of knowing that if anything happens you can call her and she will straighten it out. There are some guests who have booked on there own, but I personally love the security of a TA cause you never know and you don't need the headache of a possible rooming problem with your guests.
