  1. I just noticed you posted links for where you found your shoes. Thanks! I definitely have to investigate those 'just married' flip flops now...
  2. So cute! I love the 'just married' flip flops. Might have to find me a pair of those for when we do our pictures.
  3. Lancome dual finish wet/dry pressed powder is good. I also agree with the recommendation for Lancome Hypnose waterproof mascara. I also love Dior Backstage mascara... I haven't tried the waterproof version yet, but I'll try to remember to post a review when I do.
  4. They're both really pretty, but I absolutely love #1. It's so elegant, and the cut seems like it would be really flattering.
  5. Congrats on finding your dress! It's beautiful, and it looks perfect on you.
  6. I agree with eveyone here. I'm sure you look great in it, and you're probably just focusing on something that was produced by a bad angle in a not great picture. When you're all done up, and have professional photos, I'm sure it will be a huge difference, and you'll wonder why you ever worried about it! If the veil makes you feel better, I think you should wear one. In my opinion, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to wear a veil. My wedding is in Hawaii, and I never considered not wearing a veil, because I had always imagined wearing a veil for my wedding, and location was not going to stop me! Anyway, I'm sure you look great in that dress, but you could always go back to the first one if you like it better. Your FI won't be expecting it, and isn't the surprize the whole point? I don't think it's a big deal that he's already seen you in it. Whichever dress you wear, I'm sure you'll look amazing.
  7. Congratulations, it's really pretty. I just got engaged in February and I've found my dress too (our wedding is in October). According to the people in the bridal boutiques, it's not actually that early, because it can take up to 6 months for the dress to come in. You can end up needing the time for fittings and alterations. I thought maybe I was shopping a little early, but now I'm so glad I did. Congrats again, it's such a pretty dress!

I totally had the feeling of "these are the ones" like I did with the dress! I found them at Holt Renfrew in Calgary. They're available online on the Jimmy Choo website though. I actually found the pictures of the black ones there.
  12. I found my shoes today, and I'm so excited. They're the rose colour in the first picture, but the lighting is terrible in that picture. I've attached pictures of the same shoe in black, because they're way better quality pictures, and give a better idea of how the shoe actually looks. I love them so much. I think I'm as excited about my shoes as I am about my dress. I wouldn't have thought that was possible!
  13. #1 and #2 are so close for me. I love them both! I voted for #2 because I like it a little bit more (especially that it really shows off your figure), but it's really such a close tie for me.
  14. Congrats and welcome to the forum!

  16. Welcome to the forum! Don't worry, after a little while on this site, you'll know what you're doing.

I've never really done anything like this before, but I think it will be fun. I'm counting on Karolina to have good photoshop capabilities, but I'm still kind of freaking out because she's used to working with girls that are pretty in shape Don't worry, you're going to look hot!
  18. That's very exciting. Can't wait to see the pics!
  19. When I ordered my dress, the bridal salon gave me a swatch. If you've made your order already, I'll bet you could go back in and ask them for a swatch.
  20. Ana, that's so exciting that you booked your BD session! I checked out your photographer's photos and they're amazing. I had never even considered doing a BD session, but I must confess that all of the pics on this site are incredible, and have actually made me consider it. I know my FI would be in heaven - LOL! I don't think I'm brave enough though. I'm so jealous that you're doing this.
  21. There's a few really pretty ones on the Monique Lhuillier website too. I wanted to post a couple of the pics, but their website won't let you save them. My dress is a Romona Keveza (not short) and they had a lot of nice RK shorter dresses when I was looking.
