    I think your friends and family would appreciate attending the AHR after the bustle of the holidays and you'll have more time to plan things out. I say go for it!

    My first thought is did they "re-gift" it then I think "maybe they don't know anything about wine" then I end up with "ok they're cheap".

    I'm so sorry that happened to you. I don't know the name of the system but maybe someone here will know, there is one where it will give verbal warnings if you stand too close to the car. Its very sensitive so when people drive by (loudly) the alarm goes off so it can be annoying too. Don't you wish there was a stun gun built into the car so it would shock jerks that break into cars?

    You should try to go SB2Lennon if you can. Isn't this one of the great ways to get a designer dress for less? I've seen this on TV, I heard girls grab what they can and then trade with each other for what they want. Sounds crazy but fun.

    The last few weddings we have been invited to have been around the holidays. I like it because we make a vacation out of it, flights are expensive so we can't stay as long as we like too. IMO, there are other holidays through out the year so giving up one weekend for your wedding shouldn't be too much to ask for.

    I haven't heard this either. I'm interested in this info too because we were planning to marry legally in the US after our symbolic ceremony in Mexico. My WC knows that we're not going the legal route in Mexico. Sorry, just noticed you're getting married in DR, so things may be different.

    That's great that they let you try it on and with all the accessories too. The dress looks great on you. Congrats on the veil it looks lovely.

    I can't agree more with your choices Kashmira. I don't know if they still make it but Sunstone vinyards had a great merlot marinara sauce.

    Thanks Helen, it is called threading , I couldn't think of the name for the life of me. $3.00? Thats awesome. I have paid $7 to $12.

    For those that are getting eyebrows waxed, I recommend finding someone who can do it by "string". Once you get your eyebrows/lips done by string you will never go back to wax. I love it. The esthetician sp? takes a thin string and pulls the hair. It doesn't hurt and IMO it looks cleaner. This process is used by different ethnic groups but its becoming a trend.

    I think its impt that there's an understanding of what you want. You won't be able to redo the day. I thought it was common for brides to show pics/make a list of what they're hoping for but i'm not a photographer. I was planning to do the same thing.
