Best of luck to you.
  2. I'm giving Fi a pair of nice cuff links, hoping one day he'll pass it on as heirloom.
  3. Is anyone selling their hanging orchids or flowers for the arch? Or know anyone who is willing to make and sell? Work is killing me right now so I don't have the time or resources to make them. Thanks!
  4. You looked amazing! Everything came out perfect, wishing you lifelong happiness.
  5. Thank you girls! You've all been really helpful. Hope my WC won't object me making it vs. having the florist do it.
  6. Hi, Can anyone help me find a link on how to make floating flowers from the ceremony arch? I can't seem to find it, I thought there was one. I would really appreciate it! TIA!
  7. Try to negotiate and tell her what others are paying for the same thing? We were quoted $340 w/o flowers and I thought that was bad.
  8. What style do you want for your wedding? Have you decided on colors yet? There's some great ideas on this forum.
  9. I know how you feel MrsTorrence, I have the worst luck with someone doing my eyebrows. My wedding package comes with hair and make-up at the O&O but I'm paying the $80 for make-up trial the day before. I will try to post pics too.
  10. I had one of the worst break-outs ever when I first used it, at first I thought it was the brushes so I used my own which were always cleaned after each use but I had to quit after a week. Some of my friends love it. I have really sensitive skin so now I stay away from any "natural minerals" make-up products. Hope it works for you but you'll only know if you try it.
  11. I love Dr.Obagi, the Nu-derm skin care line is great I would recommend it to everyone. I'm sitting in bed now having just gotten the Blue peel from him 2 days ago. Jaime there were many girls in the office that had fair skin with freckles, I think you would do fine. I have really sensitive skin.
  12. Thanks for the info, I found it helpful! Now I know I have to do squats ; ( .
  13. I like them both, I have a stupid question since I haven't bought mine yet, is the pouring pretty easy or is a funnel required for either vases?
  14. Thanks for sharing! I'm getting married there in December can't wait.
  15. Wow 60lbs! Thats awesome! Congrats, I really like the dress with the sleeves, I think its very romantic but do consider if you'll be hot or not. I have no worries that your arms will look fab in a year if you choose to forgo sleeves.
  16. Hi! If you do a search I think there's a thread about a different church in Cabo that a member used if you're looking for an alternative.
  17. Thanks for sharing the pics! Everything looks so good and well-put together. Congrats!
  18. Your photog did a great job in capturing how happy and in love you two are. Very nice pics!
  19. Hi, I haven't been on here for awhile I got stuck doing jury duty for a month then life got so busy afterwards. Quick recap, FI and I are eloping to Cabo this December '08 and were planning on having AHR in Los Angeles in January. I haven't been a good bride and haven't planned anything for AHR and everything is either expensive or requires a lot of planning. FI now wants to move the AHR to Mexico in April because he thinks it will be more memorable and people would get a vacation out of it. What do you think? Is it weird not to ask people to our ceremony in Dec then invite them to a destination party in April '09 for the reception? We're not inviting anyone to Cabo because 1)we wanted the ceremony to be just the two of us, 2) too short notice now 3) Dec is a bad month with money and holidays for some people. I would love to hear your opinions. TIA!
  20. This is really interesting for me to read. In some cultures including my own, traditionally we don't register. We just invite people and usually there is a box for envelopes. I'm not marrying from same ethnic background so I will have to keep in mind if FI's family/friends will think its tacky that I don't register for the AHR or I may have to change that.
