  1. Welcome ! I read your story about the mac....I love it...sometimes, we forget that GOD is just waiting to answer our prayers :-) GOD bless!
  2. I love Boston Proper!!!I just received their spring 2 catalog today and there is a multicolor skirt on page 9 skirt which I love and can be coordinated with a couple of different color tops :-)
  3. Great pics beautifully presented! perfect gift :-) I am seriously thinking of a BD shoot now.
  4. Great pictures! you look like you all had a great time :-)
  5. Beautiful! you look radiant :-) I also love the gazebo decoration.
  6. I chose # 3 also. And if you have a multicolor bouquet, you can pick different color for the parasols
  7. The practical side in me says the beige ones but the orange ones are GREAT! looks totally different, and actually, they would look cool with a beige or light brown outfit.
  8. Don't know about Excellence Cancun but I am getting married @ Excellence Punta Cana. The brides that I have talked to have nothing but high praises about their wedding. They just have one wedding a day and it is truly special :-) I cannot think of any other place but Excellence for my wedding. Happy planning!
  9. ITA get the veil, and one day you may give it to your daughter

But i LOVE the detail around the bust. I tried #2 on at Mariee. She has a few watters dresses but not the not the one pictured. AHHH!! I have a feeling I'll go with the Watters dress. As I really like them both, and I have a hard time asking my parents to shell out 3 grand for a dress. Plus I wouldn't feel like I was slighted by picking the Watters dress. It was the first one I fell in love with! Ultimatly, the dress you pick will be the right one :-)

Watters Brides | Bridal Gown Collection | Style 8041B | Re-embroidered lace over charmeuse strapless gown with charmeuse sash and crystal brooch at waist. Available in floor length or extra length. Sorry, can get a picture of the second one to post.... Also, dress one would have a white sash tied in the back. And dress two - the picture doesn't show all the detail. Although they are both very nice and you can't go wrong, I prefer the second one. there is a subtle elegance IMO.

If anyone has any information they could share about ERC resorts I would greatly appreciate it. Finding a resort is sooooo hard! I love the Excellence resorts too but will have my wedding in Punta Cana becuase I love the beach there. My guess that not a lot of people are using it because a) it is an adult only resort and it is a little more expensive than the resorts. Don't know about Riviera Maya but the brides who married at Excellence Punta Cana had only great things to say about their wedding, great experience all around, not to mention that Excellence is #1 resort in Punta Cana and has voted one of the romantic resort in the caribbean.
  13. I love the location of the gazebo by the beach with palm trees surrounding it. I have 100 % decided on my wedding location yet but Excellence is my top choice.
  14. Everyone has giving you great advice. Make sure to combine cardio with weight each time you work out to maximize weight loss. I am curious though...did you buy your dress a size too small? I am not trying to be rude but just wondering...

Just to let you know, I have found a great company ( probably the best one) in Punta Cana. Photosouvenir Punta Cana, Wedding Photographer Dominican Republic .One of my best friend got married last year in the Excellence Punta Cana and used them for her wedding and her pictures are stunning. This is a team of professional photographers from Europe and their work looks really good. Plus, they are cheaper than the photographers here and offer the same quality. I am booking with them and they said that they can go anywhere in Punta Cana so you should ckeck it out. Hope it helps. Kate Hi. I am thinking of getting married at the Excellence too and looking at photosouvenir also. Originally, I wanted to fly a photog from the US but when I emailed Severine at Photosouvenir, she told me they were located at the Excellence and I might go with them. Is anyone getting married at the Excellence or has been married there? I would love any feedback.
  16. Beautiful! I love it. I know what you mean about long posts and being logged off it happened to me quite a few times on another board...really frusttrating...grrr Quote: Originally Posted by DougsGirl First dress I tried on at Seattle Wedding Show yesterday Pretty, but not into it 1st dress I tried on at David's Bridal Liked it but didn't get "that feeling" 2nd dress I tried on at DB Love love love it! The One! Side note, so sad.. Late last night I was up way past my bedtime working on an awesome Thread with these pics but telling the whole sappy story about buying my dress, and apparently it took me too long and I was auto-logged out from the forum, when I went to post the thread I had to sign back in and instead of bringing me back to the same spot, my stupid computer would only show me a blank page. The whole pretty thing was lost Note to self: When working on a long post, high-lite and click "COPY" as you work! That way you won't lose your info when the computer acts up!
  17. I like the #1 dress. GREAT fit on you and it is timeless! I am not found of dresses with sashes specially in contrasting colors I know it is fashionable now but IMO it is not as flattering. But it costs a substantial bit more and there is something about the 2nd one that I like but can't put my finger on. I have been asking for opinions from fam/friends and its pretty much split 50/50... ah I'm too indecisive. Anyways... tell me what you think! Thanks Dress 1: Maggie Sottero Treasure -Front: -Train: -Back: The dress in store was too big... so no good pictures. It's a fun lace-up, corset type Dress 2: Gallina from DB -Front: (we added the pink ribbon which would match the BM... it'll be tacked better if we go with it) -Back:

  21. Thanks Erica & Donnie. Thanks Leigh..have you been to Santo Domingo?
  22. Wow! beautiful pictures. Don't know which I like best...probably #7 (where we can see your gown floating)
  23. Congratulations! you both look radiant:) love your dress...is it by Galina?
  24. Thanks Monica..you too! Hi Leigh! I am in LA( Brentwood) great pictures. I actually looked at your website because I am thinking of bringing a photographer with me. I have seen the Melia resort pictures, they are good but I am looking for very good if not great pictures! I also want to take pictures outside the resort, Santo Domingo has beautiful old buildings and I think they would be beautiful backdrops for wedding pictures.
