    You are all so lucky :-) I believe once the embargo is lifted( and the end of the communism regime of course), There are a lot of american companies waiting to invest there, and the rich history and architecture, the most beautiful beaches in the world and the friendly people, Cuba will be a favorite vacation spot and a top destination wedding for americans.

    It is very tragic for everyone involved. I truly feel for the family. I cannot even imagine what it must have been like listening to the verdict. Almost like loosing their son/fiance all over again.

    Farting in someone's face? talking about raping a girl who pissed him off? why would your FI want him at your wedding? your special day The way you describe him, he sounds like a psycho and quite frankly, I would seriously ask my FI why he is friend with someone like that.

    Hearthquakes are not fun...I remember the Northridge earthquake ...it felt like a train was in our bedroom, my ex grabbed me and we cuddled under a door frame while the ground was shaking, we could hear the car alarms going off, we all went oustside in the streets somehow, it was safer than inside. The old saying is true, earthquakes don't kill, buildings do.

    I love that dress, it's beautiful, simple ideal for a beach wedding and although I love the jewelry, I do not think I would wear both the necklace and the earrings...personnally, I would go with the earrings but it's up to you...you should try them and take pictures and see how it looks. I admit I had not read the entire thread before responding but I just did now and think you made a good choice. You will beautiful!

    Congratulations! I love Paris, it is absolutly beautiful around Christmas time, the Eiffel tower, the peniches along along the Seine, Notre Dame are so gorgeous with all the lights...it's amazing!!

    I think some resorts offer complimentary room for the groom the night before the ceremony based on availability (I know Excellence does) don't know about Riu

    I must be in the minority because I do read the reviews on TA and somewhat agree, although, there are some people who cannot be pleased, overall, based on my experiences having traveled extensively, the majority of their ratings/reviews are right on. I try not to book a hotel that has less than a 4 star rating.

    Congratulations! You look stunning! love your dress( it's perfect on you) are you a model? and your bouquet is exactly what I want with the exceptions of a few white orchids in it. Thank you for posting the pics, I am saving your bouquet pic as a reference, hope you don't mind.
