  1. Ladies, i'm sorry to hear that you are going through this AGAIN!!! This is ridiculous! The only thing that I would suggest is to have documentation in writing from the head office specifying that GUESTS that have paid for at least 3 days of lodging are allowed to attend your wedding with their equipment.
  2. hey u!!! i've been waiting for your review for quite some time. I am so glad to hear that everything went great, and as usual, you looked fab.........big hair and all. Us big hair girls have to stick together!!! lol
  3. lovely!!! you looked beautiful. I really like the pic with your bridesmaids bouquets on the train of your dress.
  4. everything really looked great! and i see that you were still working those heels in the sand for your pics. Just marvelous!!!! Congrats!

You can always schedule another shoot for Valentines or your first anniversary if you are unhappy with them. I think that's a great idea!!
  6. Thanks so much ladies!! We were on a time crunch because my photographer was sheduled to leave at 8:30am, so we got up, shot the BD (Boudoir) session, and then did a quick TTD session right after. I was pooped!!! LITERALLY...but thanks for the kind words!
  7. Okay girls........WARNING!!!! This shoot was taken at 5:15am the morning AFTER my wedding. I was tired and didn't have time to really do my hair or makeup, so as a result, this is it!! My photographer was great, but I personally don't like the way I look, so most likely, I will set up another shoot later on. Login to a private Photobucket.com album password: preciseplans
  8. Nope, neither one of us received anything. We held up what looked to be some sort of certificate that we and out witnesses signed, but that was only for picture purposes. They never actually gave us anything to go home with. Oh well.....i'm in no rush to change my name anyhow.....unknowingly, I still go by my maiden name. lol
  9. We didn't get anything!!! Bobbi, here is a good thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t18911
  10. We didn't get ANYTHING yet! No temporary or nada!!! We got married on May 10, and it will be 2 months in 3 days! Where the heck is my certificate Bobbi, they gave u a temp before u left the island??
  11. Can't wait to read your review!!! Congrats again :-)
  12. OMG.........welcome back girl!!! Congrats! You looked lovely! I see that you went ahead with the Lagoon Gazebo......great choice!!!
  13. A close up of the back of my bun that Audrey did. She really did a great job and didn't add any hair or extensions. I"m natural by the way.......
  14. wow glenda!! Your hair was perfect! I'm so jealous. That's exactly how i wanted to wear my hair but the humidity was no joke in Jamaica. Everything looked so pretty! I just love the color of your reception dress and the red shoes are HOT!!!
  15. here is a small beach reception set-up at the Riu that I came across. I took this picture when I was there.
  16. There are alot of ladies that used Michael, ROR's photographer. You can look at their photos and see his style. I didn't use Michael, but if it's something in particular you want (like a ttd session or bd session), I would bring pictures as examples to show him. Must haves for me was EVERYTHING. I wanted the photographer to capture all of my details for the ceremony and reception and to really capture the essence of the day (including my guests). The one specific shot that I asked for was my Thank You card shot:
  17. I wasn't barefoot, but i wanted to be nosey and chime in anyway. I got married at the Pond Lagoon (Gazebo) I brought 4 pairs of shoes.....i know (RIDICULOUS!!!) Ceremony Shoes Ceremony Back-up Flats (I wore these during dinner) Reception Heels: Reception Flats:
  18. I had them done the morning of.......same time that Audrey was doing my hair. I'm not certain if they do acrylic (probably).....but to be on the safe side, I would already come to Jamaica with your tips on and maybe just have them give you a refill or just have them do a color change. btw: the french mani on my natural nails didn't last long at all. Maybe until the next day (if that!)
  19. ooohhh puurrrrtttyyy!!!! Everything looked lovely. I absolutely love your hair and the ceremony site looked so peaceful, serene, and crisp!! Loved the bouquet........very elegant and mod all at the same time!
  20. You really did an amazing job!!! Everything looked PERFECT! So so beautiful! Congrats!
