  1. Here was my cake.....it wasn't free. I paid for the upgrade:
  2. Most of her recent work is on her blog. I found her online.......whoknew!!!! :-) I also have somemore pics on my website (index ). We are still updating so some of the links don't work, but when you log on, click on the "GALLERY" link and go to the "Our WEDDING" album. You will see more of her work there.
  3. For me.........DEFINITELY!! It was well worth the money. My guests were amazed!! I will post some more entertainment pics tomorrow from my other PC.
  4. I had 2 photographers (NY Based). Punam Bean (Punam Bean Photography) and Jennifer Davis.
  5. yep, Mich is right.........although they originally TRIED to charge me $600, but i was able to talk him down to $300 (thx to my girl Mich). They also did 3 songs......First, the dancers, 2nd, the fire-eater, and lastly, a dance with both the dancers and fire-eaters together. I paid Steve directly.
  6. This is insane.....Let's remember people that a destination wedding, doesn't always mean INTERNATIONAL wedding. If someone lives in Maryland and they decide to get married in California, that would be considered a destination wedding. I think the fees are absolutely insane and the sad part is 3 airlines are scheduled to follow United. And I read that it's even more for the 2nd and 3rd bag. If we would have gotten married in the US, I don't know how we would have made it, because we traveled with 11 pieces.....yes you read correctly.......11 pieces!! LOL
  7. Hey Serena! You got married 3 days after me!!! We probably bumped into each other and didn't even know. Congrats married lady!!

  11. Just put up some more pics: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t23001
  12. taken from my photographers blog of course :-)
  13. Niki, I meant to tell you that I met Eric briefly a couple of minutes before you walked out. It's funny because I thought that we went to the same elementary school. I told him I was md_ocr and he looked at me like I was crazy....then i said from the forum and he just burst into laughter!!! The forum has taken over our lives!!! LOLOL
  14. Niki, I know that you used an outside photographer just like me. Did you get your pictures yet? I'm still waiting and it's been over a month with no digital proofs or anything. The only ones that I saw were posted on her blog.
  15. Yep, I sent over an email asking her about a couple of the images, and she just responded saying that she was super busy. Then she asked me if I mind if she put up some of my BD pics on her blog.....wth!!! Please keep in mind that the only way that I would see them, is too see them posted on her blog. After I told her that I would prefer too see them first and to hold off on posting them, I never got a response. Granted, she really stays swamped, but I thought for sure that by a month, I would have gotten the digital proofs by now.
  16. hmmm, i haven't even gotten any proofs yet. The only ones that I saw were posted on her blog. I thought for sure that by now, I would at least have my digital proofs. It's been a month.
  17. Just curious ladies? Whether you used Michael or an outside photographer, how long did it take for you to get either your proofs, prints or disc with images?
  18. My hubby didn't complain about being too hot...although it was.....it was very windy too. Here is what he wore:
  19. Not sure if anyone needs this, but we honeymooned at Couples San Souci and I was able to get a snap of their wedding gazebo right off the cliff:
