I am a huge planner but since I am not getting married till May 09 I am trying not to hit Claudia with too many questions right now.....I have been to Dreams Cancun and I guess it can depend on how many guests you will have. I was thinking of the terrace because it was right by the gazebo and the lobby bar.....I asked Claudia how many can be accomodated and she said: ME: What shape tables (round/rectangle) are available for the reception and how many people can sit at each table? We were thinking of having the reception at the Club Terrace – how many people will this area accommodate? Do you have a list of the areas and how many people can be accommodated in each area so we can make a final decision? CLAUDIA: At the club terrace we can accommodate 5 round tables of 10 people I am not sure about the lighting - that is a good question!! HAHA But I think because of the location of the terrace there is an area for dancing (concrete). If you choose the garden, then anyone with heels on will sink? So there you may need to have the dance floor? From the sounds of things, I would think the chair bows would be for the one time use at the ceremony but it would be nice if you are paying for them to use the same chairs for the reception. We were going to go with the Ipod and sound system but my Dad has offered to pay for the DJ as a wedding gift. Hope this helps! Email me if you have any questions - [email protected]
