Carly - I never saw your last few posts about this. I actually was at a different salon today in the city - Salon 130 on Chestnut and they had a sign up about them. They are only $35 and supposedly last 2-4 weeks. I actually got a glue test for them today because I was considering getting them for the wedding. After seeing your post, I may not though. I'd hate to get them done and have them be half off by the day on my wedding. I guess I could try them now and then get them for the wedding if they worked. We'll see and I'll let you know if I do it!

I didn't read the entire thread... but HOLY CRAP!!!! ROFLMAO!!!! You know... I did my BD pics today. I had actually gotten in touch with that guy, but he was booked - lol.

Ok... no teaser pics yet (sorry ladies), but I did my BD pics today and it was awesome! I can't wait to see them!!! It was quite an ordeal sneaking around though. We live in a 600sf apartment, and between trying to hide a suitcase full of lingerie, coming up with lies to cover where I was, and getting home just in time to take a shower and wash all the makeup off and redo my hair, it was stressful. The shoot was great though! I got my hair and makeup done beforehand, which I highly recommend. Just really made me feel sexy. My photog (Jen Capone - www.JenCapone.com) was fantastic! She doesn't work out of studio for BD, so we rented a hotel room. It was really nice. As soon as I get the photos, I will let you all know! Can't wait!

Congrats on it being official Mo! That was really quick! As for the job... go for it! Sounds like a great opportunity! Congrats!

I'm considering making a pro account on one of these and using it for our wedding pics. Has anyone done the photobucket one? I like photobucket, but I'm not sure how their print service is. Anyone have experience? Kodak also has a $50/yr service that gives you a print discount - 10 cents each. I thought guests might like that...

Thanks girls! I found it on Ebay and its $37 which can't be beat. I think I'm going to buy it. I may get something else as well, since I won't see my dress again until a week before I leave. That way I'll have options. Whatever I don't use I figure I'll just sell.

What do you guys think of this...? I know I said I didn't want pearls... but I thought the freshwater pearls would look ok since they are almost the same color as the dress. Thoughts?

The Madison one is really pretty Thanks for looking! I'm a little worried about the metal though... I have a really bad nickel allergy, so I always try to get things with sterling clasps, etc. Otherwise, my skin turns green!

I've never been to a wedding where they opened presents at the reception. At the shower... yes. But never at the reception. I'm not from CO though... so I guess that doesn't really help - lol.

I was thinking about doing a crystal necklace on invisible string like this... but this one is so-oo expensive ($180)! I like that it is a multi-strand. Can anyone find something cheaper? I'd also love to get barefoot sandals or an anklet to match, but again, Beach Bride Jewelry - Beautiful finishing touches for your wedding in the sand is so friggen expensive!

My menorah is packed in a box somewhere... next year it will see the light of day again Happy Hannukah!!!

Okay ladies... I need some help... I have no idea what to wear jewelry-wise with my dress. I don't want to add pearls in, as my dress has just crystals. Any ideas and pics are welcome and much appreciated! Also, I don't want to spend a million bucks, but I know you thrifty ladies are up for the challenge!
