I agree with JM on the point of view a guy would have, but I personally would never have been comfortable with a male photographer for my BD. You need to be relaxed to take a good BD session, so if you aren't going to be completely comfortable, go with a woman... Also, I wore a corset for a few of my shots, and guess who helped me get it on... yup, that would be my photog! Forget everything else, I would not have wanted to ask a guy to help me get my lingerie on... Just my 2 cents.

I'm with Erin on this one... you may not want to invite certain people, but sometimes you have to to avoid future problems. Are you sure they will come if you invite them? Most of us have had a lot of people turn down our invites or drop out at a later date. DW's are expensive, and you don't always get the turnout you expect. So the invite may save you some heartache with the family, and won't necessarily change your final numbers...

I work in an ER with 8 other docs and 15 nurses or so... we are all very close at work, and they all helped me with decisions about my DW, but I only invited 1 person I work with - we've been friends since med school. I told everyone that we were only inviting family and very close firends. I don't think that anyone was offended. They totally understood, still wanted to know all about my wedding, threw me a shower at work, and I never heard a complaint.

We are about a month out from buying a mattress, and I LOVE the W hotel beds! Are these mattresses price fixed, or can they be found at a lower price by haggling? Just curious, because this may make mattress shopping a lot easier! I hate going store to store and finding no one has the same mattress because they used a different fabric and called it something different. Makes comparison shopping so hard! And the price differentials are huge! The last bed I bought ended up being less than 50% the original price...
